Dean treats her like a sweet little innocent flower that’s naive like a child while Rio treats her like the woman she is and doesn’t hold back, he treats her like a partner should!

And when Beth confronting Dean about cheating on her with multiple people, Dean actually tired to justify his cheating and made it somehow Beth fall instead of being sorry. Dean always belittle sir and talks down to her but if it wasn't for Beth their family would be in financial ruin and will be his fault Dean failed as a husband and a man and he never learns, that's why Beth went to Rio he believes in her.

She needs to be done with Dean for good. He’s been mistreating Beth for years, literally, years. Dean also demeans her ideas. She was amazing with the car dealership yet he tells her that her “super power” is making sandwiches with a cookie cutter? WTF? He also lied to her about having cancer! What kind of an asshole does that? Meanwhile Rio thinks she is interesting, that she has potential, and he shows her by the way he looks at her, talks to her and makes love to her. She needs to be a real Boss Bitch and get her actual house in order because Rio is right, Dean is not trustworthy.

There wasn’t a scene that went beyond kissing but Dean had been cheating for years with so many women because he considers himself the real victim. From the beginning to the end, Dean only stops screwing other women at his office or elsewhere because he wanted life to go back to the way things were before when Beth was his faithful, loving, nurturing wife was gone. Dean tried to regain control when he had that “heartfelt” plea about letting him come back home because she didn’t know how to work the TV or how to mow the lawn. When he saw that Beth didn’t need his help at the birthday party and he saw Rio for the first time, Dean decided to inflict cruelty to Beth and his kids by faking cancer. Even if we throw out all the other shit he did, faking cancer is all you’d need to know how selfish and self centered Dean is but it’s not the only thing. That man put himself upon a pedestal and he thought far too much of himself which is shown when Beth does a better job of selling cars and successful in the office work. This leads Dean to make sexist remarks about how he and Beth are a team and have their own “super powers,” where he says her super power was being a housewife who bakes, cleans, and takes the kids anywhere they needed. The final straw for Beth is when Dean orders a white whine instead Beth orders herself bourbon which is symbolic of Rio and eventually Beth wants Rio. So she went to his bar, she had one thing on her mind and even across a busy bar scene but as soon as she sees him, Elizabeth and Rio communicate what they both wanted which is why she got up then walked into the bathroom and he followed her. I would have loved to see the reaction on Dean’s face when he is told that the night you thought things were getting better as Beth danced by the bar, he clearly thought they were going to have sex. However, Beth did want to have sex with Dean. Instead Beth took Dean to Rio’s bar and had no idea. Beth & Rio locked eyes, it was on. Beth goes into the bathroom and Rio follows. Later in the car on the way home, Deansie had no idea that his observation of Beth’s behavior all night had been right, Beth wanted to have sex but not with him.
