She is 100 percent totally, sober. If you don’t believe me, watch the bio on KZread about the days before this concert. You should also view the other bios and interviews on KZread. She was sober for 4 months prior and she was so happy that she had this gig. She had been let go by her record label due to drug use and bi-polar disorder.

She put all in on the whole concert. It was her first concert after 3 years out related to drug addiction and rehab caused by her being bipolar. On this performance she said, she was clean for few months. She had lost her contracts before,, had been afraid, she had to stop making music.. And, starting again, she had booked a much smaller lounge in Paradiso. But her faithful fans had it sold out at once, so they went to the big hall, which was sold out too then. So overwhelmed by this, the whole concert was a love declaration for her fans, She is a surviver. Music is the way to heal her and others.

Beth Hart is one of the greatest blues singers. This performance was right after she got out of rehab. Her voice is a little shaky but still awesome. "Am I the One" from the same night is something to behold. Watch some of her performances with Joe Bonamassa (another great guitar player).

I immediately became a fan of this girl back in the early 1990's when she performed on an old American national talent show called Star Search. It was the foundation for the shows that came later like American Idol. Beth just happened to win in the category of Best Female Vocalist. I love so many of her songs, but I'm more of a side B, songs that missed getting the recognition they deserved kind of guy. More recently I think "Caught Out In The Rain" Live at Royal Albert Hall is among one of her best. Be ready she can bring the jazz, blues, soul vibe not like a boss but THE BOSS!

She sings with the same amount of passion for everything she does, its amazing! She's been doing live stream performances for quarantine that are just her and a piano in her bedroom and she's still BELTING. It almost makes you uncomfortable like "Beth you're in your house and SCREAMING! Do you have neighbors?? Is anyone else home??" Still sounds absolutely amazing ❤️

I sent the last comment early. She has overcame more in her life than you can imagine. (including multiple psychiatric hospitalizations, drug rehabs, sexual abuse at age 12 and several suicide attempts) Once you go down the Beth Hart rabbit hole you will never want to crawl out. By the way, I had the same reaction- I thoroughly she was high. The next video you must check out is “ Am I the One” from the same concert.

An amazing lady / artist that's been through hell and back and deserves all the love for staying strong and turning things around ! What a performer... but I think she was born a few decades late ! She would make a perfect 1940's - 50's lounge singer.... has the look, moves and talent 😇🎙 Love all of her songs especially we she teams up with Joe Bonamassa.... Hey guys, I've been listening to your reaction channel for a while but somehow missed this reaction. You need to see more from this concert, it is amazing. A few songs to start with would be "Am I the One" Live at Paradiso; "I Don't Need No Doctor" Live at Paradiso; "Immortal" live at Paradiso; and check out some of these Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa "I'd Rather Go Blind" live at Amsterdam, and "Caught Out in the Raid" Live at E-Werk Koln or Royal Alber Hall. These are just a few I know you would enjoy. During that concert she was completely sober, she just likes to feel the music and expresses it as she sees fit in the moment. Please react to "Am I the One" live at Paradiso first.

I absolutely LOVE Beth Hart, truly one of the very best female vocalists of all time. You need to see her performance honoring Buddy Guy at the Kennedy Center Honors (the same show where Led Zeppelin was honored by Heart). She's a blues girl at heart and that performance really shows it. And she's accompanied by Jeff Beck and Jimmy Vaughn!!! Here's the video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nmus2MGLmbeed7w.html

Very cool that you guys discovered Beth Hart. She is absolutely amazing. And this isn't even her forte. Her blues performances are peerless, especially the ones she does with Joe Bonamassa. If you want to totally fall in love, check out their cover of the Etta James classic "I'D RATHER GO BLIND" kzread.info/dash/bejne/h3l82bGYhajWZ6Q.html . You said that David Gilmour's Pulse concert solo in "COMFORTABLY NUMB" was the best guitar solo ever -- Joe Bonamassa is to blues what David Gilmour is to transcendental rock. Joe's solo in their song "I'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU" kzread.info/dash/bejne/oItnsdSFeM2WnLQ.html is seriously intense, too. Hell, Beth is always intense. ;) Beth and Joe... check. Fell in love... check.
