Shaun Kelly I guess if you do the "United States, we gotta put her in a box, round peg in a round hole but it winds up being a square one , she’s a modern day this generation " Janis Joplin.

@@Cigarsnguitars i would humbly say she needs to get with a master producer and produce masterful commercial pieces. My 2 cents. I asked myself the same several times.

Part is by her choice. She was on Star Search and got into drugs etc. Now she's clean and just wants to do her own thing.

There are so many great artists all over the world that newer becomes world stars. I would say that's the normal faith, rather than some kind of exceptional case.

For me she is :)
Thank you Luke~Don't be embarrassed~people there at the club were in tears~Yes it was a wonderful privilege and an honor to have been there, and I am so grateful that I was. I videoed these because I know so many will love sharing the experience~
11 years later and I still come back to this obscure little show. SO good.
This woman is amazing. I find it almost impossible to stop listening to her... her rendition of "I'd Rather Go Blind". What an incredible voice! Joe's guitar work is, in my opinion, right up there with Stevie Ray Vaughn's.
I saw Janis Joplin in '68, a small venue and I still think of that night. You, Miss Moke will remember that might for another 40 years, trust me. 💡777🎸
I was lucky to spend the early 80's in Chicago going to blues bars like Biddy Mulligans, Wise Fools Pub and Fitzgerald's, and this performance by Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa (and the rest of the band) is better than ANYONE I ever had the pleasure to see live. I put her on par with the best of Buddy Guy's live performances (back then), and he is my favorite. Seeing blues in a small setting blows away any large venue, and the people who saw this performance by Beth and Joe were very fortunate, it just doesn't get better than this.

@ I’m jealous! Just kidding, glad you were able to see her, I still haven’t had the chance, but hope to someday.
I've lost count how many times I've watched/listened to this. Thank you for sharing :-)
She could sing the phone book and it would be the best and most true song ever!
WHAT A SONG!, Beth's voice is golden, and put it with Joes playing, I cant stop listening!!!
Thank you for the video I knew, like almost everyone,it is one of my favorites! Ever since I listen and see Beth I am crazy about her and her bands. She has it all, anger, pain, aggression, love, sensuality, sweetness, silences that speak. Oh I don't get tired every day of listening to her!!! Love da Roma!

i swear Joe Bonamassa just made me shed a tear...wow!
Yep Beth owns this song
Dear missmoke007 thank you so much for posting this absolutely wonderful soulwrenching performance!!. To experience Beth Hart AND Joe Bonamassa together in such an intimate setting is such a privilege. Again THANKYOU! The guitarplay from 04.01 to 08.05 left me with tears of joy sitting in a small bar in Los Cristianos luckily I had some dark glasses to avoid embarrassing the locals - tee hee!
Beth and Joe ...all EMOTION!!!!
Beth is one of the best vocalists ever to hold a mic. Her and Joe have great musical chemistry, and I never get tired of hearing them.
I wish I could keep "liking" this as many times as I've watched it!! I've surpassed the 1000 likes easily.
Thank you missmoke007.........should be everybodys dream to hear that much talent at a small venue!
Joe's solo is my favorite guitar solo of all time, it is just brilliant. I have listened to it hundreds of times and every time it just sends chills up my spine. Of course Beth is great too.
wow this women has a VOICE I just discovered her today. I am going to get her CD.
I’ve watched this at least 100 times. It NEVER gets old.
I have played this a zillion times.. OMG INCREDIBLE
Wow, beautiful, keep Vlog and sharing with us
Saw Beth and Joe at Bergen! 22 June. In the rain! 5000 Norwegians awestruck! Floated all the way back to Tenerife. Beth's rendition of "Strange Fruit" with Blondie Chaplin & JB's searing guitars left us all dumbfounded.Sometimes life is so generous!

So nice rubbing elbows with you Lindy. We were in dreamland. Super work once again from 'camera row'. Lordy, what a performance. Impeccable in so many ways.
Bert hart you are the greatest at what you do you have to be you perform with the greatest of the great
4.00-8.10: what an incredible guitar solo....! Bonamassa rules
WHOLLYSONOFAGUITARPLAYER!!!!!! Joe and Beth are absolutely dynamic together. She has one the most beautiful voices out there today. Wherever I go when I die, I damn sure hope there's music. Especially the blues.
Hearing and seeing is not enough. You feel the music as it streams through your ears and eyes into your very essence.
Best rendition of "I'd Rather Go Blind." I've heard dozens and nothing compare. So emotional. Beth & Joe are incomparable.
One of the truly soulful solo i've ever heard!!! JB and his Tele becomes one ....This version is more powerful than the one from Amsterdam...God Bless the Internet!
Gotta wonder...what on earth has held her back....I think I know...BUT still...what a talent! Going to see her at the Warner in D.C. Thursday night...we'll see
SUPER SOLO joe bonamassa
No one but no One can sing like Beth Hart .. All love to Janis but Beth is incredible...Her & Joe together leave me speechless ..

That is so true! It never ceases to be amaze at how people can go through and listen to music of this sort and thumbs-down it. The only thing wrong about your statement is now there are 22 morons lol. I think a lot of people don't have enough to do. If it's not your thing just move on. But I'm just wondering what music it is they like if they're putting a thumbs down on this. Pathetic
Beth, Cool, dass Du auch in kleinen Kneipen spielst !
Best guitar solo ever
It doesn’t get any better than this!
Damn! I LOVE these two together! Joe is hands down one of the top, if not the top, guitar player in the world.. Period, full stop. Find someone better.....
Don't get no better than this. When I clicked on it I knew it was going to be a great, transcendent version of this classic, how could it not be.
My absolute favorite female vocalist that's ever been. Absolutely Love everything about her . She's So Frickin COOL .
Super solo from Joe, sensitive and lots of emotion! Much better than some of his solo’s with as many notes as possible in a minute. Beth is an amazing singer, her voice just dripping with emotion, but she must be careful with the use of vibrato. Sometimes too much, her voice doesn’t need it.
eSTE VIERNES 16 DE AGOSTO ME VOY A DAR UN VERDADERO GUSTO.....IR A VER A JOE BONAMASSA, LASTIMA QUE NO VIENE A CANTAR LA HERMOSISIMA BETH CON SU ENORME Y TREMENDA VOZ...
I love that guitar solo... great
I have listened to this song every day for the past month. No other song has moved me like the vocals of Beth and the guitar of Joe B. I have shared it with everyone that I know. Thanks so much for posting.
UNBELIEVABLE!!!👏👏👏👏👏😥😥😥👏👏👏😥😥😥👏👏👏SO EMOTIONAL!!!
grandpa larry has always loved this song, still love Etta but this version is truly a chart topper
Those two together are just fire !
she is awesome..love her voice so much soul she has naturally. i wish i was there to hear her sing live...gifted voice.
Quel bel hommage à Etta, merci merci!!!!!!
Joe and Beth, wow, works so good, Joe even hit some notes that haven't been invented yet, no wonder why he's the master
I first caught this video about 11 minutes or something after it happened...absolutley blows me away...everyfkn time!
Falo como fa de longa data. Talvez o solo mais lindo e inspirado do joe. Coisa mais linda. Deus abençoe Missmoke por ter gravado
There is a studio version of this available on Joe & Beth's 2011 album Don't Explain. Also her version with Jeff Beck at the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors, is a bonus track on Beth's 2013 release Boom Boom Bang Bang.
beth is a great women with joe this is the paradise
Seems like Joe found the perfect fit. What a great voice with as good a guitarist there are in existence in today's world of music. Maybe we will finally get back to some great music for the kids instead of the stuff they hear. Thanks Joe and Beth for the great sound & feel.
Every performance Beth does of this song is amazing!
What can I say, just pure excellence from Beth and Joe. She always delivers, you never get a bad rendition, ever. Thank you both so much, your music means so much to me!
Bon.& Beth......all Talent
The man becomes one with his Tele. Best rendition, he never does it this good
i wish to have 0,001% of joe and beth soul jesus christ
Beth and Joe in this song in a blues rythm is awesome particulary in this case Joe has an amazing solo. An other fantastic version is the one at Amsterdam.
Wow,Wow,Wow, Beth is awesome on this, and Joe plays some of the best guitar I've ever heard on this one. The whole band was great. What talent.
This woman is just pure class, I,v listen to her sing this song a few times but God that was something else, puts a smile 😃 on my face a mile wide 😊😊✌✌🏴🏴

You joking Madonna, Etta would be doing cartwheels!
You dare say it michel2jean1. Still have the original Big Brother Cheap Thrills album but this lady, in my opinion, has the edge. Live long and prosper.
By far this is one of the very best renditions of this song done by Beth Hart. Far better than the live in Amsterdam.
Awesome is fat too often over used, but this performance is truly awesome.
Who is This Girl? WOW!
Stunning, especially guitar session around 5min :))
Hammer Version,I Like It
GOOD GOOD BABY, i needed that, now. thank you good vocal. connie b
just a word: you are the best!!!
exceptional performance by both Beth & Joe, THANKS MISSMOKE007..
Just an amazing voice and this is another great version of Beth Hart doin' this track. I haven't seen a bad one yet. I'm seein' her live next week so I'm hopin' to hear it in full force!!
makes me cry for you babe!
This is utterly ridiculous :) Thanks for posting !!
This is.....the best...most bluesy bluesguitar solo I have ever heard.....I have to cry every time I hear it. Good job!!!! And yeh, Beth....the greatest female rocker ever! Love from Patty xxx Come back to Holland soon please. xxxx
Chill bumps each and EVERY time!
Great Etta James song beth made it fire
I feel extra bless, to witness this!!!! Thank u God!!!!
Joe is special...
In the style of Janice Joplin, brilliant vocals, and Bonamassa wasn't too shabby. 😀 . Steve in Thailand.
Masterful.. touchy and just plain great. And I must add that Joe displays powerful play accompanied by a salute to great blues master Derek Trucks, without the use of a slide..Just great..who can't appreciate this I don't know...
Man is he good. Gets so much out of that Tele
This is so good, so so good....................
A privilege to get to watch this performance truly a spectacular event this is the truest form of what the blues represents
It just don't get much better than this.
Luke, if I would of been fortunate enough to be there also I do believe I would of had tears along with you. One thing for sure is God Himself had to create this couple and the angels undoubtedly cried when he sent them to us.
Yes this she has the most wonderful powerful voice, hard and soft, sweet and melodic, with feelings etched into every sound, really GREAT POST! Thanks
Sitting here thinking!!! Wow!!!!!
I'm baaaaack...GOOD GRIEF ...JOE IS JUST INCREDIBLE ON HIS GUITAR...HE'S AMMMMMMAZING...
Wow.... The way he used those harmonics..... That was beautiful.
I agree! I love Janis, but Beth!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!
How many times to watch this before Joe's solo doesn't bring me to tears?
"i don't know which one i like better, beth's superb singing or joe's great guitar playing......" My thoughts exactly!
