Every mom needs a getaway with her girlies - I'll say it louder for the people in the back EVERY MOM NEEDS A GETAWAY.
This particular getaway was extra special. It was not only a double birthday celebration- but was accompanied by a special Taylor Swift theme. I spent extra time creating/crafting my costume and I guarantee you cannot guess which song it was inspired by. Since becoming a mom I have been awakened to the fact that moms desperately need one another. Taking a getaway trip strengthens mental and emotional health, helps foster friendships, and provides opportunities to talk through things that are otherwise hard to process in the busyness of life... also, a great opportunity to laugh until you cry. I love having retreats with moms, if you are feeling low, this is your sign to plan a retreat with your friends.

I love Neskowin because it is a quaint little town, super quiet, not too windy with great food and ambiance. My family has visited Neskowin since before I was born and my dad leads the 4th of July Song/parade thing each year. If you are looking for a family-friendly beach, this is the place to go.
