Charlie’s just utter mystification on Lindor is so wild. Apologies if I’m missing something here…but I’m assuming you think Lindor should have gotten it over Elly…? (obviously TT and mookie are there with or without Frank). But Elly’s stats are the same as Lindor’s at the plate, they have the same Def RV and the same OAA. So Elly has all the stats that Lindor has, but the difference is that Elly has so many qualities that Lindor does NOT. Including but not limited to: a far better arm, 3x the stolen bags, a better/faster swing with much more pop, and is more fun to watch (since fans vote for ASG), and just impacts the game WAY more in general than Lindor. I hate how MLB does all star, but it worked this year. At least at the SS position. Idk, I think for a dude hitting .250 with eh power, he should be happy to be in the conversation.
