@naldebol
3 ай бұрын
@@effenbegee6252 It's apparent that evidently the central part of this discussion has escaped you. I will explain -- These 3 artists, rap /hip hop artists, they were invited to a FREESTYLE , CYPHER. Now, you, and a few others, need to be reminded about what these artists WERE NOT INVITED TO DO --> None of these 3 artists were invited to sing or perform a song from an album of theirs. It's important to emphasize that -- when freestyle events are put together, normally, artists are NOT INVITED TO SING A SONG FROM THEIR ALBUMS. Not spitting off your dome is already a thing that's piss poor to do since the public in freestyle events want to see you improvise. But showing to a a freestyle event so you can rap a song that you already were working on for a LOOONG TIME and for AN ALBUM .... that's pathetic. The only person in this trio who came to freestyle was Eminem. We have NO EVIDENCE that Eminem showed up with material that he had prepared for a long time. WE DO HAVE EVIDENCE that Black Thought and MOS DEF were just there rapping songs from their albums. So, the bottom line here is that the winner is Eminem. I have been listening and loving hip hop since its birth. I know how it's supposed to work and I know we the audience, the public need to call out the bullshit when we see it. Like when you want to engage in a dissing battle but you have others ghost write your songs so you basically have others fight your battles... like that's another bullshit. I hope I was able to dumb it all down for you to understand. We need to call out the bullshit happening and make some effort to keep the integrity of hip hop.

Reworking memorized lyrics to a new beat on the fly is freestyling There are definitely more distilled terms for full blown off-the-top and improvised, but unless there are set terms to follow (dunno much about BET cyphers. are the claims set somewhere that it’s all improvised? honest question), all 3 verses coulda been pre written and the dj is throwing down a new beat, and it’s still a cypher Mixing skills in the moment.
