Aww they are so cute. I’d like to recommend Dr. Karen Becker’s book The Forever Dog. I changed from VERY expensive, (supposedly very high quality) dog food a few months ago to feeding my Lab and Golden a raw food diet. My 4 yo Golden has had skin issues since I adopted her at 6 months. No more skin issues on raw food! And wow, her teeth are beautiful pearly white now! It takes me half a day twice a month to package their food up. It actually is less expensive than the packaged dog food.

I feed our yorkie Primal. I do the freeze dried and Patties. I also sometimes will add in a little super gravy or raw goats milk. She gobbles it up.

I might try this. My go to, via research in the past has been Canidane. However, my Yorkie gets tired of ALL foods very quickly so it’s an ongoing problem. Any advice?

I rotate the flavors of the evermore all the time, so that may help. My pups always eat all their food.

How long does one box last for you with the 3pups? Trying to figure out how long one box would last for Maple seeing how one box is one pound of food.

Are you feeding the Evermore?

What flavors of Evermore do you get? They have beef, chicken, lamb, and turkey. I can’t remember but doesn’t one of your pups have a food allergy to chicken? I looked into how much it says to feed for a daily portion. My Maple is 6lbs, so 1/4 of the pouch for the beef or lamb. And 1/3 pouch for the chicken and turkey. Do you feel your pups are still hungry with that amount? And do you feed them once or twice a day?

I feed them beef, turkey and lamb. 2x a day. If you feel that yours is still hungry you could feed more. I think it depends on your dogs metabolism and how active they are:)

Hi, I wanted to share what I feed my yorkie. He has a sensitive stomach so this is why I feed him the way I do and it works for him. It will vary depending on yorkies. In the morning, I feed him dry kibbles by Hill’s Prescription diet I/d digestive care small bites chicken flavor. I would use boil chicken breast or tenders and dice it up and use that to top his dry kibbles. In the evening I feed him Dr Marty’s dry freeze raw nature’s blend. my Yorkie gets bored of the same food so I give him 2 different types of food per day. He get dry kibbles in morning and raw food for dinner. Once I switched over to these 2 types of food you can definitely see the difference in his poop. High quality food provides better looking poop and it doesn’t smell either.

I make my Dessii’s food .. one recipe is pumpkin, brisket , carrots and blueberries.. another is bacon and egg whites .. I also do carrots and chicken .. If its not good enough and healthy for me it’s not good for my pup.. At 3 1/2 years she is a healthy 4.5 pounds or energy.. for her Teeth as a puppy I gave her a rib bones and her teeth are strong.. if u can’t afford some food that is made I also tell people do some research and make food. I even make her chicken soup (no salt ) btw .. if it’s healthy for her it’s healthy for me .. but great info

I would probably run those food choices past your vet. I hate to say, but bacon and eggs isn't good for yorkies:(

@@MeganGraham I don’t do bacon every day but egg whites and eggs are good for her .. She is my first Yorkie. I talked to several breeders and it all came down to how a pups gut builds what it needs.. btw I usually do bacon as a treat but my vet is happy with her health. I think when people think of bacon they think greasy salted pork and that’s not good for anyone .. sometimes it turkey bacon but most times it’s pork belly that I trim it just not cured with salt ..

@@GilAdams Yes, but it’s still not complete. So my vet had me work with a dog nutritionist to figure out what they needed. And even a regular vet would not be able to tell you what’s balance, but I’m sorry that’s definitely not.

We make our own food . Can you tell me what flea medicine you use. My boy is an itchy mess.

Hi Megan I was just wondering if you have ever tried Ollie food that gets delivered to you. I know you like pet food that gets delivered to you. It’s 100% human grade and expertly balanced for complete nutrition. My Maple is so picky.

It made gave yorkipoo bad diarrhea. I even started off with just a teaspoon mixed with her regular food. Had to stop

Is your yorkie needing more calories?

My little Yorkie is 5 mi and picky. Wondering why u switched food companies? I started per breeder with hills puppy. She stop eating it. Tried Ollie Turkey, lamb and beef. Did not like it. Switched to human food. Cooked Ground Turkey, spinach, sweet potatoes apple. So now she eats 1/4 cup Royal canine Yorkshire kibble in am. Then eats my home made food for lunch and dinner. She seems to like it for the moment.being only 5 months, I need to make sure she is getting enough nutrients esp calcium for bones. Any suggestions please?

I would read the book the truth about pet food. It’s available online and it will give you some good insight into finding a puppy food that suitable. They definitely exist, you just need to do some research to find one that works for you.

I have 2 4month female yorkies i want to start to tie there bangs how do i do it if their hair is not long yet

@@gabriellelgarcia you can use a dog barrettes. I would take it out when you leave them home alone just in case it falls off so they don't try to swallow it.

That's similar to what I feed my Yourkie Leevi Dr Marty frozen raw food he loves it real Lamb chicken duck all natural 0 perspectives it's pricey but very well worth it

How old is your Yorkie? Mine is only 11weeks now and I’m unsure what is best to feed her. I bought her the royal canine for Yorkie puppies but she doesn’t really like it. She will eat puppy chow lol but I don’t want her to keep eating that.
