Fz25 all the way! Yamaha should have updated it with better instrumentation and 6th gear. That would have made it a no brainer!!! Guess they like making more profit with 155cc :)

I have picked fz 25 instead of fz s25...coz old one looks beast ❣️

The way I looks at it is: MT is for singles. FZ25 is more practical.

Mileage mt is better?

The FZ25 for me all the way . The best all rounder bike if you are not a squid or not a RE Classic fanboy. It will last long for 20years also if you maintain it properly. It can go on and on. They only brought the FZ25 after they knew that fz series will turn into a commuter bike like unicorn so when they couldn't get the fz16 to comply with BS4 emission norms they said fine we will get the Big daddy of fz16 the fz25 which was getting sold in latin American markets since 2005 or 2008 to India in 2017. And that's why people always say that FZ25 is the spiritual successor of FZ16 because it kept the fun factor alive for people in the form of a Power commuter/All rounder Bike . You don't need the blingy retro if you have the stingy FZ.😅😎

Fz16 2013 riding right now... 75k on odo... Timely serviced (motul semi & fully synthetic oils)... Yesterday changed rear tyre to 130/70 R17 Apollo Alpha S1... Yesterday got max 54.5 kmpl on highway (speed around 65-75) & around 47-48kmpl in city... Engine is butter smooth till date.. Handling and ergonomics is best for me.. Once tried FZ 25, felt the same characteristics with slightly better power... Acceleration and handling is soo enjoyable..

.....Mt is more expensive cos of the tech in it and also cos of the equipment the Mt comes with like a perimeter frame , alloy swing arm, usd forks, link type rear mono shock, liquid cool engine, 4 valves, slipper clutch..............

I own fz25 bs6 2020. King in 0-80 acceleration. Mileage around 37 kmpl. Top speed Straight road 134. Pros: Stability, Sturdiness, Acceleration, Reliability Cons: Cost of Spares, Service Centre issues, Waiting period for spares, Lack of 6th grade which you definitely feel on highways.

@@haridharshan4616 Have you installed anything aftermarket? At what speeds do you find it unstable? Many factors could cause it. String wings in opposite direction, Air pressure in tires, worn out front tyre. Till 120 kmph it stays planted under most of these conditions too bro 👍

I have Fzs 2013 Model and it’s still a beast 😎 | engine & build quality is awesome

I own fz25 and I do long rides of 150-200 kms and I don't regret buying it. Everything is good except the lack of 6th gear for highway rides. I feel that the engine stresses out after 100kmph and I don't feel confident while cornering, may be due to the tyres.

MRF stock tyre on fz25 is not good for cornering. I change tyres for my fz 25 ( ceat rad x1 150/60-R17 on rear 110/70R17on front)

The mic couldn't do justice with the exhaust note of fz25, it is really good and bassy.

Fz25 gets dual channel ABS at a lower price. Why even bother with Mt15? You pay 20k more. Mt is a great bike but as a utility Fz25 is simply unmatched in this comparison. The only advantage in Mt's favour is fuel efficiency due to smaller engine.

MT 15 is for enthusiasts... That 155cc vva motor has got a kick to it... It was never meant for utility...

MT doesn't have rear adjustable suspension it is very stiff made for cornering not for Indian roads if your light wieght rider you will get beatings from pot holes but FZ25 lord of India road comfy best for Indian road agree it can't compete with modern bikes but in reality FZ is more practical then MT 15.

Yamaha should have upgraded fz 25 ... especially the cluster looks that of decade old fz16

I am an NRI. I want to do road trips across India during my 15 day yearly visits. The bike will remain in storage for most of the year. I want to get an affordable but reasonably powerful bike for this purpose. Which bike do you recommend? I have my eyes set on FZ 25. Is it a good idea to get this for my purpose?. Thank you.

FZ 25 is good up to 90 kmph however beyond that especially above 95 it starts crying big time…been using it for 1 year and did tour on it thrice and crashed once

For anyone saying that bike lacks technology, like led and all - bruh check the price - i have 2022 fz -25 model and its perfect...... For 1.70 lakhs, it was the perfct and cheapest 250 cc..... The acceleration - the breaking - everything is awesome.... Basically its a RAW machine, awesome pickup and very practical bike..

Mt shares engine with R15 which are high revving engine unlike fz. Bas that’s the difference.

Only instrument console is needed in fz25 coz, 6gear is not much important in indian road...

FZ25...there is no replacement for displacement. . Biggest drawback why it floped . Lack of spare parts. Same goes for Suzuki. Why should I buy I good product to keep in garage ? Hence opted for Apache 4V instead.

Pillion seat comfort and low end torque are the only advantages of fz25 over MT... MT gives an avg mileage of 48-50kmpl, much better top end, lesser vibrations, VVA, etc. If 250cc is your preference, Gixxer and Duke will be much better options.

Bought this bike in Sep 2022 and almost 4 months I had to keep it in service centre in Mumbai. Mechanic don't have knowledge about repairing and each time you need a spare part, It will take a month to get it as tis not available.

Apache 200 is nowhere near the fun factor which one gets in FZ25

Mt 15 is too unstable after 100kmph 🌝Ek bar chalai thi 100kmph mark cross krne ke bad handlebar "idhar chala main udhar chla Jane kaha main kidhar chala" Aisa hone laga tha ab mujhe pta nhi sab main ye problem ha ki nhi , ki bas main jispe test Kiya tha uspe hi tha.🌝🌝

They seemed to have stopped making them . Showroom says update will come but they are less than convincing. One month 2 3 well could still be 6 months. What about a year. Shrug lol. Anyone knows comment please . It seemed to fit needs but if tgey stop making parts might be a problem?

Spend some extra money and go for gixxer 250...thats way better....than any yamaha

Gixxer parts are hard to find while replacing...& Fz25 pillion seat is a bit more spacious than gixxer... Nonetheless, gixxer is also a great bike...
