It's not a good idea to just have the women attacking the men, and not have them do anything back at all. They take hits from the other women on the roster everyday I'm sure they can handle it. Also them trying to not show men hitting women yet fine with it vise versa is doing more harm than good since so many ppl are ok with that sort of thing as it is. For some reason ppl have it in their minds that men are invincible and even if they endure so much damage they still shouldn't fight back because they could do some serious damage. Why does that sound like we just don't gaf what happens to the guy? I'm just saying we could care about both parties involved well being but that would make too much sense. They all have handled an opponent much stronger or bigger than themselves. If they lose oh well, if they win, wonderful. But don't put them in the ring if it's for..... whatever all that was.

You’re absolutely correct in your observations. It makes no sense whatsoever to have “matches” between male and female talent, because they’re not “matches” - they’re just diluted dog and pony shows, designed to pander to political agendas. If they’re going to have a “match”, then have a “match”. Don’t have two people step in a ring and have one of them dance around the other, in an entirely unconvincing display of confrontation, while their opponent beats the living hell out of them and they just let it happen. I’m glad you’ve also touched on how damaging it is from a perception standpoint. The company is saying “look here, a woman can strike a man over and over again but this man either cannot or will not do anything about it.” It’s also very embarrassing from a credibility standpoint. Until recent years, I didn’t think that WWE could do anything more to disgrace their public image than they already had but evidently they’re still capable of falling further from grace. Back when people used to go see “wrestling” shows, the whole selling point was the idea of two tough competitors having a physical confrontation to determine who was truly superior - in other words, they led by the example that this was serious business, and these competitors were genuinely tough. What does it say about your 6ft 5, 300lbs, mountain of a man, when he’s getting his arse kicked by a 5ft 4, 120lbs, woman? It says this is all a big joke. It does absolutely nothing to bolster the physical prowess or public perception of the female competitor, it only serves to diminish the credibility of the male athlete - because everyone knows it’s ridiculous, which further damages the perception of the company as a whole. WWE is in a sorry state of affairs these days, and it’s a real shame, especially for those of us who’ve been wrestling fans for a long time.

Games/Movies/TV have almost completely moved on from gender restrictions in action/fighting sequences. I don't understand why WWE acts like it would be so offensive to the audience or something. Look at every Marvel movie/show, there are tons of intergender fights. I'm skeptical Vince will ever allow it to be done as more than a gimmick though. I'm sure he'd see a top male wrestler losing as showing him as too weak. Though again to go back to Marvel, nobody watches Hela defeat Thor and thinks "oh wow, Thor lost to a woman, he's so weak now!"
