It was more about which brand gave you the better installation process than about knowing which one was better in terms of protection.

Hey, btw. Those cheap clear and flimsy screen protectors that you’re talking about, do in fact work. It’s not the most fancy alternative but it is a good temporary protector until you get a nice setup. I have one of these clear protectors for my Apple Watch se and it works better than you think, it doesn’t interrupt the Digital Crown and it doesn’t take away the sensitivity of the screen. If it helps, i use a 44mm watch face. The only con i have with the cheap flimsy protectors is that they will yellow a little after a while.

I'm picking up my watch 8 Friday, I've already got my TPU screen protectors ready, I think they're fantastic, I use the brand UniqueMe they're great, use on my phone also. Wet install ones are horrible too fiddly and bubbly! Cheers for this! 👍🏻🙂🇬🇧

Nice detailed review. I’m going to take my chances with the Armorsuit. Even though the wet applications can be a pain I do like the self healing effect so if there are any light scratches, they go away on their own.

@@dipeshpokhrel5722 yes. The Armorsuit worked out great. My wife got a 41mm Series 7. As long as you’re patient and follow the directions, it’ll go on without any bubbles. Screen is crystal clear and you can barely tell it’s on. It’s also very smooth.

Yeah, but he says in the video that they claimed *online* that it was made for the 7. So either they sent him the wrong one, or they're lying in their Amazon listing because they know 75-90% of people won't bother returning it when it doesn't fit.

This video seems to only be a review of the installation process. That doesn't really tell people which ones are actually good or not with their intended purpose - protecting the watch. For example I've only used Zagg screen protectors for all my past devices, and loved them. Especially their lifetime free replacements. However for the apple watch 7, they only offer 2 glass-like versions. While both do install very easily, I hated them. The one with a black border actually covers a tiny bit of the screen. Both versions dent and scratch extremely easily, and both popped right off with me hardly doing anything to them. So I am looking for something that can handle basic simple life, and unfortunately this video doesn't seem to show which brand will make it past the installation.

Why didn't you just take the band off to take advantage of the YMHML guide tool?

Skinomi actually not that bad. I have used there product in the past on my OnePlus 3T and it still holds. The tricks to get a perfect fit is take your time and let the liquid dry properly

Nice Vid / I use The One By Spigen It’s A Tight Fit But Works Well Had To Take It Off Twice To Get A Good Fit So The Crown Can Move Smoothly Its Better Then Nothing For Now

Spigen in Amazon lists the same case for both series 6 and 7 and the series is physically larger (even if by 1mm but it is still larger) does the case actually fit properly? Did you have to cut/smoothen the crown area?

I said this on another comment but, I bought 3 of their 15 buck ones and they all have peeled around the edges. I’ve gone as far as to email them for their lifetime warranty. It always peels around the edges, immediately it pulls up,

Also, I had an order from apple telling me it would be December, I kept browsing Amazon and they have drops every week. I got lucky and got one in, shipped to me two days later. So keep an eye out on Amazon.

It works for sharing.

I've noticed using wet install screen protectors on phones they are more forgiven of a particle find its way in. It won't create a bubble. And you don't have to be so careful handling it during the install. Allow 24hrs for bubbles and screen to clear

360 bumper is best. They sent you the wrong one. But it literally says on the box Series 6.

The 14.99 one I bought. It’s terrible. The edges have peeled on 3 different ones I installed. The hybrid glass one though I have yet to try.

Your supposed to take off any band you have on your Apple watch and turn the watch off before installing any screen protector. The energy inside the watch while it's on has a negative effect on screen protectors.

Bro, the wet installation screen protectors are the easiest to install. Your using way too much liquid. If your spraying 2 sprays onto the screen protector then don't use any on the display itself. There will be more than enough liquid than needed with just 2 sprays.

Those glass and plastic ones are not made for the 7, they need to be 45mm

Maxguard apple watch protectors are garbage. Almost impossible to install without cracking.
