Drake has made 3 great albums, and that's about it (Take Care, Nothing was the Same, and IYRTITL). Scorpion is okay overall. The first half is pretty good, however; the back half of the album is bloated and underwhelming. CLB is about a 3/10, and Honestly Nevermind should be called Jimmy Cooks: the Album, because that's the only good song on the album.

About the rest I think all songs have a good point and a reason why they exist and why they are put on the album titled "The Marshall Mathers LP2", you could argue about maybe so much better or love game, but I think they do serve a purpose at showing how his hatred for bitches is still the same as it was during mmlp, plus I enjoy so much of both songs. Pink Friday is a class in terms of female rap. It's really easy to say it's not when you stack her up against her contemporaries but at the same time just like we don't mix in trap and traditional , conscious , or experimental rap , it is not fair to do the same to her. Without Pink Friday half of the female rap population would simply cease to exist , I know most times this is credited to Lil Kim with albums such as Hardcore but as far as modern rap and especially modern female rap , I don't know if there is a album more important to the landscape. Nicki was ruling that scene for a hot minute and miraculously still is whether through her directly or the branches off her tree of influence. In fact I guarantee if that same question was asked to people such as Doja Cat , Megan Thee Stallion , City Girls , and countless others they would say the same. For better or for worse depending on how you view female rap , Pink Friday changed the scene for female rap and modern pop music in general I believe.

Earl staying in good is a crazy hot take besides being one of the best lyricists of our generation, he's also undeniably one of the most important artists when it comes to showing off vulnerability and losing your grip from time to time.
