I’d like to see an indie version, particularly if there are some colorful palettes that you actually like. Sometimes I find them a bit predictable (the neutral palette is on top, and the colorful one is in the bottom) so maybe indie would be cool if you have some “unusual” favorites

Nyx is expensive for drug store, that may be why you don't hear much about them anymore, many drug store brands have stepped up their game and are much cheaper than Nyx, nobody wants to pay that much when they can get just as good or better for cheaper.

You have such a big collection and your visual memory is so good I think I’d like to see this concept but by color stories, for example “Best golden palettes”, “best berry palettes”, etc. Thank you for all your hard work!

I love ulta shadows

Elf recently reformulated the Nude Rose Gold palette. It doesn’t have a mirror anymore and there’s a clear window but the shimmers are more metallic now. I love the Misundertood palette. But everyone has different preferences.

I love the ELF Rose Gold Nude palette, but I do have to agree with your objections to it. It works for me because I love light rosy eyeshadow and wear that more than anything, but I would imagine most people are looking for more variety. Yes, I would love to see an indie version!

Your description of the Bare Necessities palette is spot on. It made me not regret missing You Had Me At Hello before it was discontinued. Going Coconuts is great for travel: small, sturdy, and has the mirror. Also, I think you might really enjoy the BH Switzerland palette, too. It is really beautiful.

Thanks so much for the Wild Courage palette review, Jen! I’ve got one thanks to your video and it’s by far the best formula I ever had, much better than most of my high-end palettes, including Huda, urban decay, Dior and many others! I’m obsessed!

I totally agree with you about the Wet & Wild palette I just bought a back up from EBAY that had never been opened. I miss that formula in the three pan formula as well. I just started buying BH my favorite so far is Hanging in Hawaii by least favorite is the first one I bought is Welcome back to Brazil. The colors are nice but some are really patchy and hard to work with. The Ocean palette is my favorite ELF I bought that as soon as I saw it before I saw any reviews it just called to me. I was given the Disney palette and I enjoy it but I use it with other palettes. I really enjoy these type of reviews so please do an indie.

Awesome video, love that it was drugstore brands! The cool toned Milani palette is my favorite of the Milani 12 pans and I was also thinking about getting a backup! Of course I love and appreciate the swatches!

I love the Courage palette! You can make so many different looks with it. And, I agree with you on the Huda "dupe". I was disappointed with it, and I really like Revolution products.

We certainly have a lot of similar drugstore favorites. I have a lot of Revolution palettes but one that i received for my birthday is the Courage Wild Animal Palette and I too am crazy about it. The formula is great, the colors are beautiful. I want so many of the newer Elf large palettes a few of the smallest ones... they are just great quality for drugstore. BH Cosmetics Smitten in Switzerland is a favorite and I want the Maybelline Nudes of NY. Least favorites are those that Milani changed the formula and there are quite a few of them. I don't like the Milani pastel palette at all. Loved seeing your favorites and worst. Thanks Jen . Blessings!

I prefer him higher end pallets, but I do like the gold case 12 pan Milani pallets, especially Soft and Sultry and Pure Passion, which by, the way, all of them are on sale now on the Milani website. I tried BH cosmetics because of you. I like Love in London but my absolute favorite is the original Zodiac pallet. I am major into cool tones, but wear warm tones too, and love all the purple and cool shimmers in the OG Zodiac. As for Colourpop, I love so many of them, Sweet Talk, Give it to Me Straight, Going Coconuts, Double Entandre💣, Blush Crush ( even though I am annoyed at the two gorgeous mattes with glitter, but I’ve learned to load my brush and whack the glitter off), and am waiting for the Making Mauves, whenever they open again. I do have Flutter By to get me by, but the mauve pallet is my jam, and No Glitter (yay)!!! Thanks for talking me out of the new Sigma Rose pallet. I already have way too much. I love that Rimmel Jewel Rocks palette, too. I just think the color story is so well done and the formula is decent, if not as strong as a Colourpop shadow. It plays well with other palettes, too.

Just finished watching the video, so I`m gonna comment again, haha. 😃 I have to agree with you on Wet n wild, I still love my old Comfort zone, those shades are so buttery and opaque, I think their new shimmers are dry and shear somehow, I like mattes more, but those aren`t incredible either, some are so hard to blend and patchy. And yes that revolution animal print palette is surprisingly good, I don`t own it, but my sister does, as well as the tiger print one, with warmer tones, with orange and peachy tones and I got to try them both and they seem like a big improvement from some of their older palettes.

From Profusion the Confidence palette is so beautiful. I hope people bought that when it was out!! Also the Siennas is gorgeous. They need to use that formula all the time.

You’re one of the only ppl I hear mention BH life in London but it’s one of my fav palettes of all time 👏🏼👏🏼 Idk if u own it but their 1991 palette is super underrated as well. All the shimmers are duochromes and I think the mattes are right up your alley!!

Hey Lady! I just purchased the Elf Earth and ocean palette on your recommendation. I'm excited to try it! Me personally, I'm a little burnt out on all the "pinkish/mauve" palettes. I've purchased a few of these because I thought they were pretty. However, I seem to have the same issue you do. The looking a little washed out and "sick" on me. I loved them all but....yeah. Thanks for the head's up on some of your drugstore palettes. Keep doing what you do, I love love LOVE your channel!!!

If you want good pastel shades, I recommend the Sugarpill Fun Size palette, the Nomad Tokyo Harajuku palette, or the Shroud Creepy Cute palette. They are more pricey than drugstore (like $20-$40 range) but definitely the best pastel formulas that I have used.

The NYX brand for me started increasing their prices but the quality was not matching. My favorite Colourpop palettes are the Sweet Talk, California Love, Misunderstood, Disney Masquerade, and a lot more. However, if I had to pick 1 it would be the California Love for me. My least favorite was the original Yes Please because it was definitely not as good as the quality of the palettes now. I would like to see an Indie version of this type of video. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I feel like once I used indie brands like bh or colourpop I can't use drugstore anymore. Unpopular opinion but I really didn't enjoy the wet n wild color icon palette I got, and I absolutely hated the rimmel one i got as well. But I'm now so tempted to buy the Love in London and the wild animal because of this video even though I just ordered some other palettes lol. the downside of watching your (amazing) videos is the money I will spend as a result of them hehe. Appreciate the time you took on this video with the swatches, especially with bare necessities!
