The best thing (for me) about Angie being in the States is the drugstore reviews. There are some channels i watch solely for their personality, but I usually find a lot that works for her works for me. Bonus points for her personality 😂

Even though I'm in Sweden (I used to be able to tell if her videos were pre-filmed or not when she mentioned the weather, because we lived close enough to have the same weather), I really enjoy her American content too!

I'm all about avoiding negativity in gneeral, but I LOVE that Angie went OUT ON A LIMB to "include a Sephora brand item in the drugstore video!"...because she "HAAATES" it , that was the kind of passion that I needed today. P.s. what a bummer, I love the old sephora brand concealer formula!

I am interested in that skin tint but can't believe covergirl thinks it ok to charge $21 for it. Idk who they think they are..

One thing I don't like about elf is its more affordable products are only available on its website. A $2 lipliner is going to actually cost me more than if I went to the actual drugstore or Sephora for one.

Love hearing about drugstore products, that’s all I can afford right now 😅 btw Colourpop is now selling remainders with TJ Maxx and Marshall’s so even though they’re not drugstores the prices are comparable. Found a pristine blue palette at TJ Maxx for $7.99, which is a really good price imo

Their quality is usually really good and we need a run down of the best of the permanent palettes to make smart purchasing decisions. I know you may not have all. Ok, so I'm NOT a conspiracy theorist, especially about makeup, but I find it so sus that no one I have heard of has been able to buy the Twilight collection from either Colourpop or Ulta. I have seen influencers who have gotten it in PR, and I have seen Mercari, Poshmark, and Ebay selling it for 3+ times the price. Even people who set an alarm to buy it from CP. Has anyone reading this been able to purchase it directly from CP or Ulta? I have every palette CP has ever released except this one and the Hola Chola which was pulled the day after it released.

Angie, you almost sold me on tarte fake awake eyeliners (also, there's a 30%off on their website today). But, I'd like to let everyone know that Essence Extreme Lasting Waterproof Liner is absolutely 💯 great, smooth, pigmented, and a fraction of the price of tarte. I got mine in Silky Nude, which looks like a white Beige on my warm medium skintone. I used it today on my waterline, and I'm happy with it. Another alternative for great lipstick/lip balm hybrids that is so pigmented and so silky is the Moira Signature Lipstick. It is labeled as Balm Texture +Lip Shine. It's soooo comfortable and flattering on all skin tones! Omg, I love this so much. I love the shade Dazzling Peach, Dusty Rose, and Chili. Highly recommend it and it's sooo affordable. I'm so glad some of these drugstores are just fantastic quality so everyone can have great experience without spending a ton of moolah.

One of my fav releases so far is the new cheek/lip tint cream blush thing that colourpop released this Valentine’s Day. It just looks so beautiful on my skin and is SO easy to use!

Nyx stick corrector triggers my core makeup memory when internet told me I need to use lighter to make these types of stiff correctors “creamier”. I wonder if TikTok will (re)create this “hack” I hope not. Friday can’t come quick enough - I can’t wait on your thoughts on the new Kayali fragrance - so far I’ve seen only the clues but rum, saffron, geranium and woods? Sign me up. [Note: as I was writing this comment they relased the notes and I have to say I’m still intrigued, although mix of patchuli, cedar and oud woody notes sounds like too much but if they sent it to you I hope you will be able to review it. I got the Milani balm in red. I adored it! Slippy, moisturizing feeling, beautiful color; BUT it wears soooo badly! It left the brightest red stained dry patches on my lips with a clown ring that bled into my lip lines. Moral of the story, use a lipliner if you get the red.

I love the variety of adding the glitter toppers. I think that’s aims more for people who can’t afford to buy a palette and additional things and gives limited budget people a great variety within one pallet.

I had the same problem with the fat oil slick clicks. I don’t love any of the colors.

It is very interesting what diffrent skin types and how the climate impact the foundations. The Makup Revolution foundation was a satin on me. I wanted a more dewy foundation 😅 I'm dry skin and live in Norway 😅

I bought the cover girl skin tint in light medium and NYX concealer in vanilla on your recommendation and I love the combo! Sheer enough to show off my good skin areas and the NYX covers my spots, which is exactly what I’m looking for every day. Light medium is a little peachy/orangey on me in winter but it’s so sheer that it’s not noticeable and would be perfect for my summer shade. I do have a video request though. I’m attending a June wedding in Florida and I’m a SoCal girl, born and bred. I can deal with dry heat but add humidity and I’m a goner. I would like for my makeup to last and look nice for the wedding so if you have product recommendations,tips and tricks, or even an old school tutorial for that kind of situation , I’d appreciate it since a lot of your foundation recommendations work so well for me 😊

Hi Angie, I think you pinpointed exactly my thoughts on why I like the NYX Fat Oil Slick Click I bought just ever so slightly more than the Tarte Maracuja lip balms. Completely agree about the color selections too. I’m hopeful they bring out more colors as I’m really enjoying the one I got in In A Mood (wine/maroon color) and definitely far more affordable than Tarte (which I have only purchased on a deep discount or in travel size kits).

I bought those Revlon balms on Amazon. I got two reds that are gorgeous!

I love the CoverGirl tint too. I use it alone on quick makeup days, and I also use it to mix with thicker foundations that are the wrong shade too. I really want to try the Elf clicky lip glosses, and the Colourpop multichrome liners. I totally agree with you on the shades of a lot of drugstore lipsticks/liners/glosses. I normally don’t find many lip shades at the drugstore. That’s really where the drugstore lacks. They always make such tacky looking shades, that totally look like drugstore products on the lips.

I bought the Physicians Formula Butter Believe It eyeshadow palette because I wanted the cool grey shade.

That´s the idea for a video : neutral palette with a twist. ;)

The new-ish elf things are out in Germany now as well, need to try some of them out.

I hated L'oreal serum concealer. It gave me zero coverage, and the alcohol smell is definitely noticeable. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

The Revlon ones are a little more stiff and less pigmented Id say :)

I appreciate the videos, but I don’t care about Colourpop anymore. So many duds. And the palettes that are good don’t age well. I feel like I get a better value by splurging on fewer Natasha Denona or Blend Bunny or Vise Art palettes. You live, you learn, you watch declutter videos.

Love these type of videos. There’s so many products coming out which is always exciting. I still really love Sheglam (yes, I know they’re problematic) and the products they put out are really good quality and they’re easier to get in Australia than most other drugstore products. For example, the new CoverGirl and Revolution foundations are still not available here! 😢

I really appreciate you do drugstore reviews, thank you so much. Living in rural Canada and being on a tight budget, most of my makeup is purchased at the drugstore. The only brands that we cannot get here unfortunately are Colorpop & Juvia’s Place. With the exchange rate and shipping it is the cost equivalent of high end products. I love your channel no matter what you review, but hope you keep on with the drugstore reviews here and there🥰

You have a really saturated skintone Angie that's why you prefer glowy cheeks. People who lean more muted doesn't look good with glowy base products so they go for matte.
