I’m so glad I finally found someone which uses Australian brands, I still can’t believe people prefer overseas sunscreens when Australia has the best regulations and formulas!! I LOVEEEEE that you gave us a video on the side of you applying it so we could see how it would be to apply on our full face day to day. I have never seen anyone else do that and I'm so glad I discovered your video. Also as someone who is afraid of sunscreen like it's the plague and applies three small dots, the demos really helped etch the proper amount into my brain and greatly motivated me to put the proper amount. Thanks for the great video!!!!

I’m so happy I found you! I’ve recently been starting to get into skincare now that I’ve had my son and my skin is really changing. I know I’m supposed to wear sunscreen every day but I always think to that gloopy stuff we wore at the beach that would stick to everything. Living in Australia means I need advice about what’s on the market to us, thank you 😊

I have never clicked on a video so fast!!! I can't tell you how frustrating it is to be in Chem Warehouse or Priceline with a Dr Dray video pulled up on my phone with all the "best affordable drug store sun screens" and literally none of them are to be found in Australia. Or they are but the formulation is slightly different so I don't really know what I'm getting. Thanks for taking one for the team, and I'm relieved that the two sunscreens I've been using were on your best of list :)

Thanks for doing the legwork for us testing all of those, it's a big help. Going to try those Bondi ones out.
I agree so much with your opinion on tinted sunscreens. I would rather have a spf with the highest protection possible, that doesn't sting eyes, feels amazing on the skin and doesn't have a white cast rather than something with color in it which doesn't match a lot of shades so most of the time tinted spfs are a waste of money for me
@raziamoe
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yes agreed. Shade range is a huge issue as well with SPF. If only companies would just work on not having a white cast rather than tinted SPF lol.

This has been so helpful!! Love that you specifically tailored this to Aussie viewers. Also pleased that you also loved the Ultraviolette Screen Queen and LRP Invisible Anthelios! Have you tried the Mecca branded sunscreen? I've only tried a travel sample of the Screen Queen though and found the dropper to be a bit loose/annoying (so much product got left over in the bottom considering $ per ml) - is it easier to use up in the full size?

Love this video review. Finding an Aussie location / chemist warehouse / supermarket affordable product review video is amazing. I have been buying and testing sunscreens out myself finding it frustrating to find the right one. Sooo glad I watched this review as it's saving me so much time and money, with all the facts I wonder myself about the sunscreens (white cast, thickness, greasiness, does it sink it, ball up etc etc). Love that I can see the application cause really that's the ultimate test once its applied to a full face and not just on the hand testing in stores. Love the ranking system too ❤️

i've been using the neutrogena hydro boost and from time to time, i would get that slight stinging sensation in my eyes. i had a suspicion that it was the sunscreen melting and seeping into my eyes but just assumed maybe an eyelash or some dust had been irritating them. this just confirmed my initial suspicion! thank you for the in-depth review on the aussie market, it's really appreciated. so glad this came up on my recommendations. new subscriber!

I need to try some of those last few! My skin HATES any kind of thick cream, even if it's on the lighter side. It either clogs my pores or stays greasy on my combination skin. The Cancer Council one is a little too heavy, still smells a little like bog standard sunscreen and leaves a texture that I'm not fond of. As an Aussie, I'm so glad I found your channel! This is the best review! So glad to have found your channel. I've always avoided sunscreen convincing myself because I have olive skin, I don't need it unless going to the beach - because that horrible white cast / greasy feeling it leaves makes me not want to wear it. Hey Razia 🥰 I’m from Australia too and I really enjoyed this video. We’re both on the same page with our all-time favourite - I absolutely LOVE Ultra Violette’s Queen Screen. I really wanted to love Supreme as well as the one by La Roche-Posay but since alcohol is at the top of the ingredients list, I had to give them a miss. I’m not keen on the one by Azclear either because it has witch hazel and menthol in it. I have sensitive, dry(ish) skin too so the mattifying ones are a no-no for me as well. I had given up all hope on drugstore sunscreens but this video really persuaded me to try Bondi Sands. Just purchased it today from Woolies, fingers crossed it will work out well. 🤞💕

Thanks for watching! I'm glad this video could help.
I’ll definitely try out the Bondi Sands face one. I use their body sunscreen and enjoy it. My fave facial sunscreens are the la Roche Posay one and the Hamilton Every day face spf 50.

I second UV Supreme Screen, I really hated wearing sunscreen on my face before this beauty...onto my 6th tube! I use it as my moisturiser/primer/spf in the mornings. It also reapplies over makeup well if you gently pat it in. Worth every cent.

Hi. Thanks for the review. It’s very helpful. I live in tropical country it’s very hot throughout the whole year. I started using sunscreen very recently. I have a verY fair skin tone but it’s very dry. After researching alot i started using bondi sands sunscreen as a beginner. But after 2-3 days i kinda realised after applying this sunscreen my skin tone has gone a lil bit darker. My face seems to be a little darker than before maybe it’s red but definitely there’s been a change in colour of my face. It’s kinda visible cause my face used to very light. I used sunscreen after cleaning my face with cerave hydrating cleanser. So need some help. What other sunscreen would you recommend for my skin.

Ultra Violette Supreme Screen is honestly my favourite, I’ve never found a sunscreen that didn’t make me itchy, patchy and uncomfortable until I found UV.

I also really rate Hamilton Face 50+ from Chemist Warehouse. Cheap, high protection and beautiful texture.

Yes lots of comments suggesting that one! Will be trying it soon and include it in my next sunscreen video!
Really glad I found this video! I currently use the Cancer Council Ultra Sunscreen, which is a fantastic sunscreen (and my boyfriend swears by it, as he's allergic to zinc), however I don't love the finish when I use it on my face, so I've been looking for something just to use on my face. This was super helpful! 🥰
