I had so much fun making this with @Brandon Laird. These workouts are very basic and will help any person who is brand new to working out gain strength where it is needed the most. I have seen so many riders progress after spending a few months in the gym getting stronger. It really makes a big difference and I challenge you to try it.

Pull ups push ups squat circuit- 10 10 15 x 10 sets 3 times a week or lunges.. off days sit ups and i throw in some deadlifts once or twice a week depends how im feeling, im 50 years old this year, either weights or bodyweight training is whats kept me riding mtb and bmx. Forgot to mention i stretch every other 10-15min.

Wow I’m also type one and I have no issues with it. The only think is that getting lows when working out/riding. I’m on mdi so I don’t have a pump or anything and I’m good at adjusting my insulin based on my activity
Would you go with a bmx bike or mountain bike for riding on road for weight loss

Why are you training like a bodybuilder. surely a proper strength program would be better use of time?
Love your videos man, but these workouts aren't great for BMX. Should be working on more explosive movements, flexibility and coordination. This video essentially shows a "bro split" which is better for muscle gains/bodybuilding. Much love for the content tho!
