I have the Be Lenka Winter Boot 3.0, similar to the Patrol. Waterproof, gusseted tongue, wool lining, and they look awesome. After wearing them this past winter in Ontario, I still get cold toes, but my toes seem to get cold regardless of what I'm wearing in the winter. The boots are fine in the snow, but are an absolute no-go on ice. Same sole as the Patrol boots, no traction whatsoever. A shame, I hoped they'd at least be okay, but they're very slippery. But I got some Yak Trax and they make ice a non-issue, so at least there's that. I love how they look and feel, but perhaps another boot would be a better option than Be Lenkas if you're looking for something slip resistant.

Thank you for making this video! I'm a pround owner of the Ahinsa Jayas but the version with a zipper on a side because I wouldn't have the patience to lace them all the way up every single time... Spent the whole (European) winter in them and they were so comfortable! I can recommend adding their fur insole when the temperatures are low but for the usually mild winter here it's ok to go without it. I think I'm going to wear the Jayas even in early spring but I'm eyeing also some winter/spring ankle boots so this has been helpful. 🫶🏼

I have the Vivos, the trick to the laces, is that because the laces have those ridges, you can leave them laced, you just unhook them from the hooks to take off, then when you put them back on, you just rehook them, no need to re-tie them. Once I learnt that trick, my quality of life with those boots went up significantly. Also, you never need to pay full price for Vivos, at least in Europe, there's ALWAYS, a sale going on, I got mine for 160, you just need to wait for your number to become available, as the availability for the sales is usually a really big issue, but the online shop for Vivos has a notification for when your size becomes available.

why did you not use the "tracker winter sg mens" when they are the waterproof and marketed by vivo for winter? the shoes you used from vivo are not for winter weather...

I have the wildlings, I couldn't test them in snow, but I always put them on when it's pourring rain, and my feet stay dry.

If you hate tying laces you should try zubits magnetic shoelaces. Makes all boots into chelsea boots.

Clearly they are useful and have benefits, especially for those like me who have a wide feet... but I really don't like most of these shoes aesthetically😕
