Another great tip is during Champion training events, level the food being sacrificed about halfway before ranking up, that way you get a bunch of extra points in the events/tournaments

1:30 quick summoning/tavern tip, for mobile users with a back button you can open the shards then press the back button and skip the animation entirely. Never thought about that brew strat for the lv1s very helpful for energy. 9:17 it is also a good idea to make sure your sets of 3s are the same star sometimes it keeps the lower ones in when they didnt need xp for me (might just be the last set but still wasted xp )

I have a tip that's been working pretty well for me. Don't use your mystery shards at all. Every time I see a market refresh buy every uncommon champ you see itl will usually be about 2/3 per page and you can completely skip leveling common champs because by the time u do champion training your food stock will be all 2s and you still didn't touch your shards for when you really need em for an event.

What I always did to farm xp for champions I planned to start using was set them on Minotaur final level with two or three of my main champions who had max scrolls already, so they got XP AND scrolls en masse

Ash - you forgot to uncheck the top box in multi-battle to have the battles stop when your champions reach max level. I have wasted many battles and got no XP by leaving that top box checked.

Hey Ash, if you are low on brews, or are like me and tend to dump them to fast level champions i've made 6-star, i have an alternative way that i use to level my 1-stars: to get 1-stars to level 10 in campaign, you have to run them 3 times at 12-3 brutal. however, assuming you have 100% bonus xp and either the raid card or forge pass (you only need one of them), you can run all your 1 star champions through once to get them to level 7, then run 2 at a time instead of 3 to get them to level 10. this means you're spending 40 energy per batch of 6 champions, instead of 48 energy; in other words, 20% less energy. very good for optimizing your energy during champion training events. running all your 1-stars through once before feeding them to make 2-stars also gives you 18 tournament/event points for 8 energy, which is not bad. so in order to make 6 2-star champions, i run 12 champions through 12-3 brutal once, then two at a time for another 6 of them. that means i'm getting 120 tournament/event points for the cost of 56 energy. (90 for getting 6 to level 10 and 6 to level 7) in other words 2.14 points per energy using this methood. the drawback of this methood is that you can't just turn on multi-battle and leave it, but for some earlier game players that may be struggling to get the rewards they want from the events/tournaments, this is a very nice way of squeezing every point you can out of your energy.

That's exactly what I do. Plus, instead of using a brew which costs silver, I'd rather just get the artifact from the fights and sell them to get more silver.

Once you have 2x +10% unlocked in the Forge Pass you can even do 2 runs of 6-3 Brutal for leveling up 3 level 1 champs, very nice for the money bonus. For that you need XP boost, forge pass and raid Pass tho

Great video Ash also with the one star you use the brew and a one-star champion to take it to 10 the weird thing I found is once you make that one star a two star it only takes one brew to take the two star to level 10 why I don't know but that's another way you can save energy spent

Hey Ash, just letting you know, man, when I'm food farming, I have found it more efficient to do 9 multibattles at a time when leveling up 2-star champions, 23 for 3-star and over 40 battles for 4 and more stars! I hope this helps you guys.

I do something very similar. I use 15 one stars to take the 16th one star to lvl 10. I save my brews for champion training events. I have never run out of Mystery shards so I don't fret over using up some.

TIP for really early players in Arena - When I have a 5 coin / 10 coin bonus sat waiting to be claimed and it is near to expiry I will lose some fights to clear space so I don't lose the coins. By losing enough I can also pop back to the previous band. That is an instant refresh of the list of available fights. When a had a bunch of bonuses burning a hole in my pocket I would lose back down, see there were some easy fights, lose enough first so the last easy fight popped me back up. If the higher list had no easy fights, I'd lose once more and check another lower list. That let me farm the Arena some with a very light weight dumb team.

Whaaaaattt !!!! Been playing a couple of months and never knew you could queue champs... That'll save me a bunch of time !!!

Love this video, one thing if you use dungeons to farm xp, you will be hurting when you get to the end of the month and you need your 500 campaign runs done. Nothing like being 2 days from a sacred and you need 350 campaign runs left

Ok, I've just started playing for about a week now. This is a great stategy and i have used it to level my 1 star and 2 star champions and some 3 star champions. Ok, so when it comes to 4 star and above and using this strategy, when im takinga a champ to 4 star or 5 star foe the sole purpose of food, how many brews do inspend on them to start the process? I imagine it will take a lot of battles to get them to level 4 to level up. Is that how it usually works for the higher levels? Thanks again for making the video. It's helpful!

i'm a newer player and don't have my first 6 star yet I can clear it with 2 50s deliana and death knight but can't clear it with just 1 tall character on brutal. what node would you recommend me to farm for my first 6 star?

When doing auto battles u get to put 3 champs in at a time so 18 is the most u want to run or ull have one lvled champ taking up space when the last 2 come in

When campaign farming I do groups of 18 so I don't waste 1 spot on my last rotations. It adds up over time. 3spots open÷ 18 equals 6 equal groups when doing same level

I did not know you can queue them, it doesn't switch out the farmer right? (for being max)

Honestly, I didn't know about that queueing system. Neat! I don't tend to auto farm XP when sleeping. When I'm farming XP, I might set up for X amount of fights, but I never take them to max level. Say they are working their way up to 30, I'll stop them at 29, stick those at 29 into the guardian ring sparring pit, then take in other champs into whatever I'm running for XP with energy. Is this method a bad thing?

It’s okay if they’re close and you can move them as soon as they level. Generally it’s more efficient to put higher star level champs in. At default sparring pit level, a 1-star gets 2,000 xp/hr, but a 4-star gets 2,300 and a 5 gets 2,400. So a lot of people put 4-star “chickens” in to work toward making their next 6-star. At higher levels it can be 16 hours or more for a level, so they can level while you sleep and not have to worry about hitting the cap.

I'd recommend only putting 18 in the que not 20 to be more efficient with energy. As your levelling 3 at at time and 3 goes into 18 not 20, otherwise whilst levelling that last 2 your wasting 50% exp per battle

General advice, especially for newer players. Try to only pull during 2x events or fusions. You're going to need shards for fusions and 2x events are the best way to pull legendries.

Was gonna try to use Silver keys but I just unlocked doom tower and can only use Gold keys. Am I missing something or are silver keys for later in the game.

A medium geared Torturehelm with life steal and high HP stats can farm dragon 13 solo with food champs to grind gear and exp. Mine did it at level 43.

Here's another tip if you farming 12-6 brutal. Upgrade ur uncommon champs with 2 common champs in the tavern then it takes 9 battles to upgrade them to 20 instead of 10 battles saving u energy on the last level.

Still can't do anything with the silver keys. Is there a strategy to be able to reach the content to used them

What’s the point of food instead of just grinding out the champion especially with the elixirs? I gridded a few two stars for food and they sacrifice for almost no xp at the tavern compared to the xp of just grinding the champion. Am I doing something wrong? Or by “food” does it just mean it’s like a stock for when you get the next star on your champion and they go to level one?

A fast Commander in reflex gear is healing 2/3 of turns and is great until you replace with Chancellor Yasmin. There are other great uncommon champions too. Saurus and shieldguard are both great. Don't sleep on Satyr either, using him in fw21.

Elfguard is another great uncommon with 50% turn meter reduction

omg, i've been playing for so long and didn't even know about the champion queue for auto battles...

If you can afford forge pass. Max 50% exp bonus off that is great for champ training too; almost 13k per champ/run. 12-3/6 also gives you rares and uncommons for food while you do it. Very efficient!

Awesome video! But if you want to rock training events, leveling 1 star champions is way better than lvling up 2 star, because you get a higher ratio of points/energy than leveling 3 two stars... But anyway the BEST way of getting the most for events is ignoring common and uncommon and leveling up from 3 star.

and to be more efficient, have 1 or 2 champion as a farmer in mino so the one your farming mastery will get as much exp as possible, normally I just put the one I'm farming mastery at lvl 40 so when they're done they'll at least around lvl 55+

Two Questions from a newbie: #1 - Is there any benefit (XP wise) to level a 1* to level 10 if you're going to feed it FOR XP to another champ, over just feeding it to another champ fresh from the shard at lvl 1? I was leveling them (and greens) to level 7 during champion training tourney on a baby account, but wondered if there was any benefit other times...? #2 - For new players, is it better to farm for example 12-3 normal (or 12-6 normal, depending) OR say if you're up to 3-3 or 3-6 HARD, is it better to run the 3-3 Hard, as it seems it would have more XP than the 12-3 on Normal mode? Thanks for great content for this game, I'm ADHD and you pack lots into a short period of time without being boring (and by the way, per comments on other vids, you are actually able to be understood at double speed clearly, I've done it. LOL) Don't sweat being a little off track sometimes, it happens to the neural diverse, the rest of the world calls it multi-tasking, we just do it out loud! :P Best wishes to you and your Fam!

#1 no benefit, just wasting xp unless as you say in training tournament, easy points to level up a few times, I go as far as L18...then food them! #2 I think you get more silver selling the artifacts in 12-3 but more xp in 12-6

@@nathanp9449 Yeah, my friend and I just wondered if a level 10 grey gave more XP than a level 1 grey.. Sometimes I think these guys (Ash, HH, others) forget what it's like to be small peanuts and NEED a champ like say Odachi or Veteran, or the struggle for very early players to clear spider 3 for the mission much less something harder or getting Arbiter. When sites say "Odachi is nothing more than food" or something, it pretty much means they're not playing at beginner level. I mean these guys say "get your starter to 60 as fast as you can" but trying to get enough 5 star champs (cause you can't get enough 5* chickens at beginner level without buying them) is a real struggle, and any champs you can get that high pretty much means you need them for Faction Wars if nothing else. If I had a home office and any kind of decent computer setup and sound equipment, I'd make bare-bones starter vids. But right now the free UDK kind of excludes anyone F2P who comes to watch after the October cut off for him... But overall, I wanted to know if there was any *advantage* besides a Training Tournament to level greys for XP fodder...

So when editing que does it change out your leader or no?
