Your informational videos like this one and the one that you had showing what everyone had in their tunnel bag are super helpful. Since it seems like you have some footage of foot placement from your insta 360, i would be curios to learn where/how you place your feet during different situations and terrain. I had a buddy encourage me to start putting my feet further back and it definitely improved my sled control.

But I think if you did a poll, you might find that alot of other viewers would also enjoy that kind of video format. And please don't take my above comment to heart Matt. I enjoy the content you put out. It just seems like all the sled channels I follow, the videos are very similar, and it's like 85% of them are riding in Revelstoke lol.

Great video! I was wondering why the angles on your videos always look so real lol. We have always had a hard time showing angles on Hills videoing with phones.

Can you do a trail tek gps review ? And how well it links to your Polaris buddies.

I like the 360 cam for how you use it in the videos, even though GoPros kinda suck I still like the action cam part and kinda rider pov, but the 360 cam every now and than is sick

You had mentioned this camera back in the Fall and it was because of that video that I bought one. I have yet to use it though. Looks slick. IMO I think three cameras would be ideal... helmet, front bumper and rear bumper (or backpack).

Hey Matt, the X3 has my interest. My channel is mostly SxSing, do you feel I would benefit from this camera?? Do you find yourself using your drone less due to having the X3?

Do you need special editing software or just regular. I use powerdirector. How do you move it from front to back in editing is there multiple video lines for each clip.an just choose the one you want. This might be a good video to make show how to edit it.thanks for your time.👍👍👍👍👍

I edit the 360 footage in the insta360 app! Then Final Cut for anything else

So I'm super interested in this camera, but have 2 questions. Do you have any specific editing software? Does insta have an app to make editing and choosing frames easier?

What editing software do you use?

Would be cool as well to see what program you are using for editing. My group is just starting with these cams and got a new drone as well. Would be cool to see how u are editing together your vids and even using the insta 360 software a bit.

I use the insta 360 app to edit my 360 footage, Final Cut for KZread videos and sometimes insta videos. Or just the insta app

Insta has their 360 stuff and software sorted out. But I'm gonna wait till they can get rid of the stitch line

I have been using the Insta360 X2 for a couple seasons now and thinking of upgrading. What mount are you using when you secure it to the front of your sled.

It's honestly super easy, can take a little bit of time but the process is simple. I use the viewfinder mode to edit. theres a lot of tutorials on KZread

I completely agree, I've started using one to record our bike rides. I hope the next generation has about 8K capture because I find the quality just a bit low when you have to zoom in to get the shot. BTW what are you using to edit and produce your videos? I'm using Davinci Resolve on PC.

I guess you need a computer to handle editing with all this has going on? I have a GoPro with my I Pad and a Splice editing APP. I’m assuming that my stuff ain’t going to cut it.

I am not a fan of the fisheye effect the 360 tends to have and weirdly can make me a bit car sick to watch. It has great potential but not quite there.

Not a fan of the 360. I find that I fast fwd any time 360 footage is up. It curves the outer edges and gives me motion sickness. Just me. Thanks for the great content.

I have a 7, the first of the stabilizers. It has done ok for me. I hear they got worse somewhere after that in particular, true? I had a few glitches in real cold. I made a reflective case and put a hand warmer in it and it does really well with battery power and no problems now.

@@mobilewintercamp7515 I always had issues with connecting to the app and getting the remote controls to work and uploading and updating and you name it. I had 5 of them because every generation was supposed to be better and they never were. All I want its an app that is easy to connect to and control from the app (since the camera is usually mounted where it's hard to see the screen on the back to start and stop recording or take stills). Then easy upload to any other photo app and that's it. Gopro can't seem to get it to work.....at least for me.

@@MuskokaFreerider I have rode an Alpha One. Very tippy and tracking straight is difficult. Down hill, they turn in easy. Reminds me of a stand up Jetski. Its definitely a different animal.
