Heath and Jeremy “The End” part. Night, signs, music, the part being shared, the b-roll, the progression from beginning to end. It was perfection.

Rob Welsh - Aesthetics Video… absolutely ANY part from They Dont Give a Fuck About Us video from Lordz, especially Alex Carolino & William Pham… Stephan Janoski & Karl Watson from Expedition’s Alone… stephan & Tim O’Conner’s parts in Habitat’s Mosaic… just a few of my favorites that influenced entire eras of my skateboarding. it’s basically a never ending list that can change at any given moment depending on my mood at the moment.

Kerry Getz had a part in On Skateboarding. I believe it was the second one with the Orange cover & featured Pat Duffy’s origin story about the first double kink handrail & getting on Plan B (pat duffy’s part in questionable is another great part)
Louie Barletta's Bag of Suck, that part was so fun to watch and always got me excited to go skate

This episode was awesome! My favorite is an easy pick, Jerry Hsu in “Bag of Suck”! Louie, Caswell, Jose, and Jason Adams all had memorable parts too! Such an epic vid still to this day and definitely inspired me to just go out and have fun on my skateboard.

I challenged Danny and Chico to a game of skate when I was 16, they absolutely stomped me but it was some of the best 15 minutes of skating I’ve ever had.

thank you once again for a fantastic show! first video was streets of fire and Natas blew my mind! loved all your choices and Video Days is on my list as well followed by the Questionable video. Both changed everything.
Honestly I wouldn’t mind if every episode talks about some of the greatest parts of all time and what they mean for all y’all, they’re just so much to choose from. And I love hearing about if
In release order: Shorty's Fulfill the dream (I talked about this vid randomly early today too) Zero Misled Youth Es Menikmati. I remember being 12 years old and going to our local theatre for the premiere. Girl Yeah Right each had a significant impact on me.
Herman’s stay gold part will always be perfect
Guy in Mouse is my favorite part of all time.
Cory Kennedy Beware of Sasquatch is still my goto. Never gets old.
Guys you made my day with this video. When you started talking about Gonz video i finally lost it, started laughing my ass off...
Andrew Reynolds - Stay Gold
Yes! Wonderful horrible life changed my trajectory in life. My first video ever and it framed my mind of what a skate video was and made me love video.
Gonz - Videodays
Markovich: Color Wray: 2nd hand smoke
As a New York skater growing up, the part that shaped me the most was Zered Basset - Vicious Cycle Up until that part, I didn’t really see people doing superstar-level shit in the city. There was some really good skating, but not the type that would get you deals outside of the east coast (at least how I remember it)

I'm still processing Andy's thought process behind his Powell "Skateboarding" part , like, oh, I'm pro now, you can't be pro without an epic part, I guess I should do a part with like rails and pro stuff in it - knocks out all-time great part with eye watering gnarly rails in it, as well as the expressive stuff. No problem.

Great episode
Rad episode and Thank you so much Daniel for shouting out my Mike V. Speed Freaks part to open the topic 💯 A coupe Speed Freaks factoids: first Dinosaur Jr in any skate video, the blueprint of P.O.V. filming/ follow/ crossover/in front of angles, he was riding the first symmetrical street board, he brought an unknown young skater to skate with: Ed Templeton... we filmed that school part in one session and entire part in two days! Thats how we did it back in the day!! here's mines: Tony Alva/Jay Adams- Go For It, Natas- Goin' Off, Eric Dressen - Speed Freaks, Tom Knox- Speed Freaks, Tim Jackson- Risk It Gonz- Video Days, Tony T- In Bloom, Daewon Song - Deca 2nd to None, Danny Way- Waiting For Lightning, Daewon/Haslam Cheese and Crackers, Shane O'Neill- Welcome To Primitive, Mile Silvas- One Stop, Nyjah- 'Til Death
This is the content that gives me life.
I tripped out WITH Daniel when Rodney did the Switch Backside Flip Primo thing... & it made me realize I think I seen that clip in an old THPS secret tape like 17 years ago. & all this time I didn't know that was switch. Rodney is a God. Purposely trying a Sw Backside Flip TO PRIMO (Minus the other primo flip stuff) would be the scariest flatground trick imo. You're just asking for the board to rollover, to double shinner then belly flopping on concrete. I'm mindblown.
Another nice episode!!! The video part that first really impressed me was matt hensley's. I absolutely loved his skating, but what got me to skating was the bones brigade video show, Mullen's part. Everything else was amazing too but i could relate to rodney mullen because i could just get outside my house and try it... but for that i needed a board, so i fucking build it!! Went to buy the thinnest plywood i could find(a few milimeters thick, so i bought 3)glue them together and uses presses to keep them in place. Then went to the local hockey ring shop and bough a pair of trucks, used on their roller skates, wheels and barings also, and there it was, my first skateboard :-) The board broke almost imediatly:-)... but it was on :-) Years after anything with jason lee was always my favourite, his style and finesse on a skateboard was unmatched.
Paul Rodriguez forecast, Mike Mo forecast, Mark Jonson fully flared, Brandon Biebel Yeah Right, PJ Ladd silence is golden, these are my favorites that always made me want to skate. There are so many, even Shane Oneill skate mental part where he skated to facades.. amazing memories.
dope episode
Sick love the soty board
Steve Olson in Fulfill the Dream is by far my favorite part ever. Fulfill the Dream is the holy grail of skate videos and Bag of suck, fully flared, seven steps to heaven and video days are top tier IMO.
Agreed Daniel!!! Loved watching Mike V in VB back in the 80’s. So much better than what he gets credit for being these days.
All the videos you guys mentioned are game-changers and are Too Many for sure. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 My Top 10 Skate Videos that really made me wanna skate everytime i got out of school were: Rodney Mullen vs Daewon Song (1 & 2), Baker2G, Flip Sorry, Emerica (This is Skateboarding) , DC Video, eS’ Menikmati, Yeah Right, Hot Chocolate Video, Flip Really Sorry, Baker 3. I Know there’s many more. but here are mine for now. Love You Guys❤
Thanks for the quick feature ❤
Bro 9 club in my pants 😂 mike mo is the best and his fully flared part is my vote
I don't know about all time, but my first legit VHS and part that I LOVED was Peter Smolik in Fulfill the Dream. With a huge shout out to Muska and Brandon Turner in Fulfill the Dream also!
Crob going savage with the Nyjah’s banger part in 6th place comment 😂

@toast skateboarders are f..king mental ..there is absolutly no reason to dislike the guy Trick selection ?? Really ! We still hung up on how people decide to Express themselves on a board? If people are mad at his tricks its cos they cant do them simple as I honestly thought skating had evolved from this culture of judging others

I Like Andy. I don't mind him wearing a helmet it's his thing and it suits him well. As far as trick selection And style I think There Are soo many better skaters than Him, but I Like him just for who he is. It' Mike Vallely's type of shit. Street plant? Come on, but he's a legend in what he does and always shares a positive Vibe.
I used to watch that Rodney secret tape religiously!! Love it when you guys have Andy around!
Love your guys lists, I agree with the sentiment of what it means to you generationally, I started skating in 1984, I Agree with Andy, anything Rodney and Tom Penny… For me Natas Streets of Fire, Natas and Gonz were on a different level than anyone at that time… Ed Templeton Welcome to Hell!!!, Death Wish Richie Jackson skating to Sensational Alex Harvey Band loved it! Keep going Andy love watching you progress into one of the best all around, Andy and Jake Wooten you guys are taking skating to the next level.
Good picks
Fully Flared was the first video I watched after putting down the board 19 years before. I wasn't skating in 2007 but this video and Mark Johnson's part out a bug in me. I spent the next 10 years keeping up with skating and thinking about it, but not skating. In Dec 2017 I picked up the board at 41 and haven't put it down. Mark Johnson's skating had a lot to do with that.
Anthology & Ride the Sky are two O me faves
Twisted tea came out. So funny. Been on those for a while.
Gino … chocolate tour . GZA
i had the pleasure of watching andy skate in galveston and it indeed was a pleasure so smooth

Jamie Thomas "chomp on this" Eric Koston "chomp on this" Biebel "chomp on this"....that video was DIFFERENT!!......GG Allin, and Tru
That Tiago varial heel up the pier 7 pad was switch.
My cousin went to school at North Miami Beach Senior High. Didn't know people skate it though. Cool!
Andy is always a nice time!
Speaking of best video parts of all time, check out the filmer/photographer T.R.'s (Tony Roberts) channel Real Skate Stories. He's putting out uncut footage from classic skate parts he filmed, mostly from stuff like Santa Cruz' Risk It and Speed Freaks. Edited to music, too. Just saw the Dressen uncut Speed Freaks street section yesterday and was blown away. There's like an hour-long Danny Way video from the Risk It sessions, all kinds of really awesome stuff. T.R. would definitely be a cool dude to interview for the Nine Club.
I'm with Andy on the Rodney Part. Straight fire 🔥

Eric Koston in Menikmati was world shattering for the time
Every experience “skateboarding is subjective maaaaan”
"This is not the next H-Street video" Matt Hensley, that part is still amazing today! ❤️
There are too many to name, but also different kinds of "best". Some are just trick, trick, trick, trick and all the gnarliest stuff like all the old Zero videos and then there are the parts that might not be the most insane tricks ever done but the overall vibe of the part is just perfect, like Crobs part in A Time To Shine. One of my all time favorites has to be P-Rod in 16 Below, the first video I ever bought on VHS. I'm still trying to find out what song he skated to without any luck, get him to spill the beans on here!
FOR NOTE 🗒️ my top 3: Mikey Wright - Lost & Found Corey Duffel - That’s Life! Chris Pulman - Live From Antarctica My no1 would be Corey’s (he’s cool enough to chat to me over instagram which is amazing to my younger self) so there we have it! 🎉
