I was glad to learn about these tools even though I didn’t find a straight forward way to purchase them from my US location (Wisconsin). Maybe that access will change. I am looking to get some new spindle gouges. I also enjoyed watching the bowl turning with Tomislav’s technique where he makes it look so easy.

Wow, these gouges look amazing. I can’t find any way on their website to change the language to English, so navigation of the site has been a bit tricky. I’m probably missing something obvious.

I used google tranlate web feature that automaticly translate, works great.... I did mention to GURTOOL that they should update there website so hopefully they will soon👍

That looked like a piece of elm. I am curious about the tools. The PM tools I am used to are the Doug Thompson tools, and they always give a vanadium content, which for Doug's tools is 10%. There were some that were 15%, but those were considered too brittle. My favorite interface pad for sanding comes from Vince Welch, and it is a firm pad with a 1/4 round profile on the edge. This makes it excellent for the inside of a bowl where you use the edge. When sanding the outside, I sand more with the flat of the pad. The PMV10 tools do cost more, as well as the M42 HSS, but you get far more for your money. I may have to try your grinds, and the spindle detail gouge for bowl roughing. I do find scrapers to be faster though for heavy roughing out.

Thank you sir, thats the beauty of turning, so many ways to do same task.... I usually use spindle gouge for rough out, but lately I have more bowl gouges so I need to use those as well a bit 😅

So, how well are your fingers calibrated? Those look like great gouges.

I tried to purchase gouges and other tools from their website, unfortunately don't seem to ship their products across Europe, pity as they look great, enjoyed your video

There website I believe doesn't have English but I use Google crome option that translate every page apart ones on English.... I use that feature beacuse lot of stores are in German and I don't speak german ☺️

If we can’t get them in the States there is no use showing them. Love to watch you turn!

I dont think they have, but most turning shops in Europe like in Germany ,most of them have in native language.... I use google translate that translate after you open web shop into English.... I shop most of stuff from KS Schulte but then only have german language, so I use this method as well....hope that helpes
