Dude, Try 3s on stock brushed electronics. It's amazing! I got a second eat15 (eachine banggood) after I adjusted diffs and got oil shocks on first one. I basically "broke-in" the fresh one with 450mah 3s lipos. made one 3s lion from 2 stock packs; it works surprisingly good. After 15minutes minutes of high-speed drifting the motor was just pretty warm. Note the eat15 comes with a heatsink fitted. Have you noticed front lover control arm ball joints getting loose? I have hit jumps at the dirt track and skate park.

Can you swap the Mustang body to the SG chassis? Or do you need to do some adjustment like cutting?

Can I use the quicrun with out buying the transmitter and use the standard one that came with the car?

Still using stock servo with that quirun ESC? How does it plug in? And do you have a link to that battery?

Nice man!! appreciate the info, totally going to buy a brushed one and change out the parts. Have you stumbled upon other shells that fit the 1603, like more JDM oriented shells, I tried searching but apparently 1:16 is pretty rare lol.

@@18kingen As for shells the only direct fit is gonna be the other SG stuff. If you go in the Facebook groups you will see something cool pop up every once and a while. They are typically diy. The 80's rally body is cool. I did a conversion with that and love it. The next best thing is finding toys that you can steal the shells from and modify to fit. I did a lightning McQueen and a fast and furious challenger. You might find some jdm stuff like that. As for the battery, the zeee 2s 1500mah is a direct fit but you will need to change the connector on the esc to a deans connector or change the connector on the battery to a 18 gage just. But the battery really wakes the car up and gives it what feels like another 20% more power. Its like you get a 4th switch.

Zeee 1500 2s battery is great and fits well. If your looking for a remote ( transmitter) and receiver the DumboRC with gyro is nice for $42 on Amazon. Not sure if that answers your question?

Hey depends on which ones but you will need to go from a 9mm hex to a 8mm I believe

Is it me, or what happened, got basically the same setup, but reverse is really sensitive, actually it feels faster in reverse than forward..😂

Try swapping the the leads to the motor. I think your running it backwards. After you swap leads reverse throttle on transmitter. I'm pretty sure that ESC gives 100% throttle and 50% reverse. This could be your problem.

Where did you get those wheels that are on the Mustang?

They are Tamiya m chassis wheels. Click on link. They are the Fiat Abarth ones, I painted them Tangerine Orange. They have 12mm heck hubs. You will need Traxxas slash 1/16 scale 12mm hexes to make them work. Here is a link, be careful to do your research. There are 3 different models. In this link check the info. It's gonna show the 3 different cars. Mine is the pro highest end. EX16-01 ( high configuration.) These things are rare and perfect unlicensed replicas. It took me 2hr 38min to put all the stickers on.
