Sir Vu ke qled ka bhi video banao..

Brought 55 inch toshiba tv. In scene with light, tv performance is satisfactory. But when there is a dark scene this TV is very bad. There is lots of blooming in dark scenes which makes tv watching experience unsatisfactory. Also brightness in HDR content is very low. Overall not satisfied with this TV. I have purchased this TV from my hard earned money after watching your review and made terrible mistake. Nevertheless we are living in Kalguy so need to be more cautious while spending our money.

Totally Agreed with your review. Picture quality is just astounding. I have Hisense Tornado earlier but this TV produce even brilliant colors and contrast. Sound is okay. Used it for few hours yet and only noticed that it does have decent amount of motion blur. Rest everything is Good.

@@nikhilkhandelwal9200 better visit showroom to test Sony's quality as no TV is perfect is handling motion blur. This ain't bad either because your eyes get used after sometime. Keep in mind that with Toshiba you might need to tune the picture according to your liking. Also the Android 11 UI is not as smooth as the older Android TV. There is also a slight Halo effect in some scenarios. Not sure if that's with all Qleds due to local dimming. But there is an option to control local dimming as well.

No doubt Toshiba is a top notch brand... Am using Toshiba 32"LED TV in my old house from past 10 yrs still performing satisfactor ... Another very true review by MR.VM 👌 By the way your white shirt was very attractive during your review session 😋

I saw the review of both VU & TOSHIBA The only thing I found is that the price VU is quite expensive compared to TOSHIBA, + points of Toshiba is made in JAPAN.

@@sairam-vf3lr Sai Sir, no doubt of course his review is superb what about builtin sound bar in Toshiba is it there? A difference of around 20K is also there. VU doesn't have a far voice mic system which TOSHIBA is having.

I bought the Hisense u6g TV just a couple of weeks ago after watching your video Vineet bhai, and now we have this TV!!... buyer's remorse is a real thing I tell you 😅

Toshiba closed their operations in 2013 in India, after five years of manufacturing LCD and LED TV in India. Now Toshiba brand is sold to Hisense .

Actually got the TV yesterday. While it's great in a lot of ways, there does exist an issue of blooming, you will not notice it unless its a very white object against a black background. Brightness is adequate and sound is great. The MEMC is not great though. Might prefer the u6g over this.

@Cherian Philip Its short for Motion Estimation and Motion compensation. Its what makes the picture look smoother than it actually is. I keep it turned off for movies and most tv content.

@@jagadishbhatta9562 while it does help,blooming does exist. But in most cases its fine, the times I mostly have a problem is when its showing credits and such, it becomes noticeable then. That is when there are pure white objects against mostly pitch black backgrounds

Toshiba is very good company I have 32inch led tv which is now 12 years old. Which is still working like a pro no repair till today. I am planning to buy this one 65 inch as I already had an good experience. I recommend this TV to every one

Thanks for the review, but I don't understand why any Indian tv reviewer talks about blooming with the FALD? Blooming differs from TV to TV and it is important to highlight that how bad the blooming is with the dark scenes with the particular model. It would be great to see the comparison with other TVs in this context to make a better decision for consumers like us. One more: This one has IPS panel instead of VA, so it is again important to talk about the IPS glow on dark scenes in dark rooms, but again no mentions about it . This model is very similar to the VU Masterpiece (I own one) in terms of design and specs except a few to keep it in mid-range budget. It would be great to see a comparison video between these two and especially on the Display and color production with their engines. It would be great and apprecaited if these are mentioned in the review since they do affect your viewing experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed your review Vineeth ji, am fond of this tv and I do have faith in Toshiba as am currently using one basic Full hd for last 8 years. One question- if I try to connect a AVR through HDMI eArc port will it pass Dolby Atmos sound or it would decode and then pass the 5.1/7.1 digital audio? My AVR is old one and doesn’t support Dolby Atmos by default, wondering whether this tv can help overcome this limitation.

I got the TV 2 days back, few things to note: please turn off all kinds of motion sharpening, etc. Increase backlight to 100% for max brightness, dimming to high, if you Increase brightness under picture settings that will only turn black to grey, better to leave all settings to 50% or 0 as default. You have to repeat the same when you plug in an external hard drive or pendrive, just go to settings-picture and turn everything off, color temperature keep it medium thats neutral. You should not only get rid of all the blur caused by motion interpolation, image sharpening and denosing, etc but get a pristine quality picture. I wish it was at least 800 nits. Thing is if you want HDR, a good display with 800-1000 nits is a must, anything less just looks like SDR or worse then that, some times way darker then SDR and the dynamic range truly suffers resulting in a bad color reproduction. With this TV, the HDR content is not super great but near the realm of SDR content, that means you can't say if its SDR or HDR for the most part. In HDR content colors are less vibrant due to less black level and has less saturation overall, that is a good thing in a way as it keeps things neutral, truly life-like, however, blacks are not great, its IPS so don't expect that. But SDR is where it truly shines. If HDR is your priority go with oled displays or high end samsung displays, and if its SDR above all, and on this budget, I definitely definitely recommend it! Great panel! Great product for this price!

This is super-helpful. I am confused between sony TV KD-65X75K vs toshiba 4K QLED TV (65M550).. both similarly priced (+- 10K) 65 inch TVs; sony's model is LED vs Toshiba's is QLED; sony Bravia engine and content upscaling seems to be better. It would be great if you can guide me- which one should I go for; I have a soundbar so difference in sound o/p is not an issue

Hello sir, i want to buy this tv after watching your video but i show some other youtuber videos they r telling this tv is pathetic so tell me what to do

I own the U7980 Toshiba, which is also a full array LED 4K tv. It claimed to have a peak brightness of 700 nits when I bought it. It's a good tv for its price but here's the overall experience from a viewer's perspective: - 4K HDR bright scenes are great. - Colors are quite saturated. - 4K dark scenes are quite average. Below average in fact. Local dimming and contrast don't work as well. - Vida OS is terrible, but they've fixed it by getting an android version. This TV (M550) seems like a downgrade from the U7980 (launched two years ago), and I don't actually have a lot of hope for Toshiba TVs otherwise. Spend more money and buy a better TV (Sony, LG, Samsung), or go for a Hisense full-array TV. They seem to have better brightness and contrast perhaps. But again, if you don't really care as much about the nuances, buy this one.

@@av8480 Samsung/Sony/Samsung le sakte ho. Jyada value for money hain. VU ka Master QLed bhi aaya tha, jo ki better performance deta hain. Hisense ke bhi models theek hain. I think naye models aaye hain with micro-LEDs.

Get toshiba....i bought vu because i already stretched my budget from 35k to 41k...i got vu for 41k.....but i cannot stretch it to 53k....if i could i would definitely gone for toshiba....it is better than vu Qled but......vu qled is better than hisense A6H because they both are in similar price bracket..

@@shaun2201 it's exactly same as this review. Worth the price. Upscaling is good, sound quality is next level as it comes with built-in subs as well. But keep in mind it has 60hz not 120 hz refresh rate, so it might not good for gaming and I haven't tested anyway.

Vineet ji I bought the tv recently about a month ago after viewing your video. I can say this is really a beast. The colours and sound are just amazing. Thank you for suggesting such an elegant television.

I was actually looking for a review for this product, because of 10 bit display, REGZA engine and Dolby Atmos, finally VM droped excellent explanation and love to know that it has best sound quality under 1 lakhs and ofcourse the best in class qled display ❤️ Now just waiting for BBD sale 😁

Friend, Rivalry & Negativity blended with manipulated testing can make any TV bloom, show less brightness, and make a good TV look like a bad choice. The problem is that neither I sing songs for a brand like a parrot, nor do I have a problem with anyone's success.

@@vamsivamsi853 there is minimal blooming for sure. But only in too much darks scenes and if you see when lights off. So if you don't like min blooming then this TV isn't for you. Hisense QLED is good as well. If you need only picture quality then go for Hisense but if you need new features and good sound quality then Thosiba is good.

The installation guy came next day but as I installed myself he registered and went. And ya I bought this TV as most of features not there in hisense and old Android version and eArc support is not there as well. This TV fill them.

Hi Vineet, I found the below issues/disadvantages online by one of the buyer. Is there a way to pass through these issues with M550lp? Cons: 1. Can't connect your mobile directly via bluetooth. For this you need to set up Google home app. Also sometimes I found audio lag using this. 2. I phones can screen cast using hotspot. Samsung phones can't do this because, screen mirroring in Samsung uses Wi-Fi. 3. There is no wifi Direct feature. 4. There's no 'Toshiba' service centre in Hyderabad, but they have 3rd party service centre authorised by Toshiba.

Vineet ji please recommend a TV. Room size is 22.5 ‘ x 16’. TV viewing distance is 15.5’. Would be wall mounted. So size?? Secondly, refresh rate should be 120hz preferably! Thirdly, we watch mostly programs on OTT. Fourthly, room is adequately lighted/ bright, as during the day window is behind the head. Fifthly, I have Apple play and Bose 2.1 sound-bar. Would request you to recommend ASAP so that I could make use of the Sale going on!

sony (J series.. not K ) is always top if ur budget is extendable to reach, second LG , it better to avoid toshiba m550, instead go with hisense U6g

I ordered Toshiba M550 55inch Qled and I got this tv on 43490 this is very cheap Amazon give me big discount...in first time I saw this tv in 54k and my budget is only 45k but vm review on this tv and i am totally convert blaupunkt to toshiba...and I think my decision is perfect. Aap ne iski aur kisi tv ke sath iska comparison nahi kiya shayad aur aise hi daal diya tv review, kisi ko 400 nits ki brightness dikhti hai meter mein aapko 500+ nits dikh gayi, maine plan kar liya tha iss sale mein isko lene ka but bach gaya, Pehli baar laga shayad aapne bhi brand se haath toh nahi mila liya.. Bura mat manana, aapne iss tv ki Haqiqat chhupa li hai. 🙏

Agar aapko aisa lagta hai to koi baat nahi, lekin main apni baat par hi rahunga ki is TV mein 570 nits peak brightness hai

Appreciate your effort. Keep up the good work. I would like to share my suggestions here. 1) It would be great if you could show some closeup shots of the products along with the review to get more idea about the fit and finish of it. 2) Please show a tabular summary of the products while comparing different products. 3) For the TV reviews, please show the light bleeding test even though it could vary slightly with each unit. 4) Please include a user experience part also so that the viewers can have an idea of what you are talking about, like how easy and effective the feature can be used etc.

Sir it would be great if can put timestamps on your videos, that shall help a lot of users

As per Toshiba india website nothing is mentioned about Panel, from where you got the information that it has IPS panel? Do you have any letter of proof from Toshiba? Then simply do not tell anything which you cannot prove? it could be an ADS Panel too. Backside of this TV is not metal frame!!

Whats the deal with Techiebeez channel lady? I think she got a lemon unit & bashed this model more than anything. Maybe it’s the LP faulty series?

Would really help me out if you could answer this question: how big of an issue is 60 hz refresh rate? Is it worth spending 50k plus on a 60hz TV? My consumption will only be OTT: from movies to live sport.

No point investing in more refresh rate if you don't plan on gaming. Almost all content on OTT platform is 24fps or 30fps, movies are shot at 24frames usually, and youtube videos are 60fps at most.

Toshiba's after-sales service is similar to what most budget brands offer. That's why I recommend everyone to buy a Go warranty package with their TV/appliance
