My instincts were great for an all around, sharp and clean but never enough to irritate skin. Only issue is they crapped the bed on me in 2 months. They dont turn on unless plugged in and then stop after less than a second. Took them apart and everything seems to still be soldered and connected. Maybe I just got a lemon. I do alot of cuts a week, like 100+ so my tools get put to the test, and I disassemble to clean them daily. Ive never had a clipper or a trimmer not make it to 2 years. Usually my batteries wear and then I retire them. My babyliss fx trimmers were the most reliable, that rotary doesn’t quit. Love the Sabers too but im getting skeptical of these digital trimmers at $200+ a pop

Just want to start by saying I love your videos. Really good and very informative! Thanks! 🙏 I am struggling to make my mind up on what trimmer to buy and kind of hoped you could could give me your 5 pence 😬 Seems I am not alone looking for answers to this, so might benefit others as well. I am a "home user" looking for a trimmer that can do my beard with 3-6mm plus lines... so would not mind zero gapping possibility. I would however also want to use the same trimmer for my head with maybe 1-3mm lenght. I am kind of set on Babyliss for some reason, but open to options! Which trimmer would you suggest for this use? I guess I need a guide combs compaitble trimmer to manage the different lenghts? Price is not a main deciding factor, but naturally USD 150 is better than USD 300 😃

When I use the GTX I swear I can literally use it on a beard and use my balder right after and don’t even need to use a shaver and it gives the same 3d sharp line it’s ridiculous how close the GTX cuts there’s nothing else on this level.

I think the might have fixed the fx3 blade. I got one a month ago and it is perfect. Also, it's practically silent. I don't love shape tho. Best shape gotta be the Lo-Pro. I enjoy just holding them when I'm not using them. Soooooo ergonomic. I threw the gold fx blade and they HIT. The sabers are thicker and less ergonomic than the Lo-Pro. Haven't used em tho. Had quality control issues. If the Lo-Pro was quieter and an lil more powerful, they'd win every time.

@Seancutshair just shipped them back yesterday. I probably won't have them in hand again for another 2 weeks. We'll see what happens then. I did use the zero gapper and test them under my chin and they scraped the shit outta me. I'm going to use it again next time and just back them off a tiny bit. I have high hopes for them, even though they're not as comfortable as the lo-pros.

Hard hitters but too sharp for soft/sensitive skin, looking for trimmers that are gonna be good overall for balding lines without being so sharp that I’m leaving cuts on my clients.
