Interesting! Do you have a private shuttle bus or similar? 😊 The express train is great, I just think we had bad luck when we visited last year but mostly it run on time even then 😊
Thank you for sharing this! We are definitely taking notes for our upcoming trip! More power to your channel!

@@MillaExplores You're welcome and thank you too! :D
Great tips & tricks! I live in La Spezia and yes: avoiding july and august is the best thing you can do! Check the weather and see if you can come by in april/may or the first week of june and then skip to september and the first 15 days of october, still good weather and way more place to sunbathe and swim :) Also traveling light is the best thing to do, and if you don't want to pack hiking shoes there's plenty of places where you can rent a pair!

Thanks and great to hear you agree! 😊 The swimming spots were so full when we visited so I can imagine it being better in "shoulder season" when it's still warm enough but less crowds 🙌🏼

Where would I rent hiking shoes? I’m going in October 2023

I'd probably ask around in sport gear shops, but honestly I think running shoes would be just fine. I hiked in my sandals and even that was doable haha 😅

@@carmenhoffarth4559 I checked around recently and due to the pandemic rules, many rentals just closed :( yes, basic running/gym gear is good or even light walking sandals, just not wear flip flops, heels, converse or stuff like that. In any case you can buy quality hiking gear in Manarola at Cinque Terre Trekking shop :)

Looking at your channel you've really had a taste of many wonderful places to live and see! Which places have been your favorite? As an American I'd love to live abroad.

Yes, I'm super greatful for all the places I've been able to spend time in! There's so much to see and explore. ☺️ I always have a hard time picking a favorite and I don't think I can name one! 😅 but if I have to pick a top 3 that would probably be Puerto Escondido (Mexico), Utah (I lived there as an exchange student so it'll forever have a special place in my heart + the nature is gorgeous), and Barcelona (so many good memories from there too). 😊
Excellent info. A few queries please help 1. If we opt for 1 day boat ticket how long the ferry will open as i have a plan to explore all 5 by boats so my concern after watching sunset in may around 9 pm whether boat will operate to come back to la spezia stn? 2. If i will not take the hiking tickets and roam around next day by train and for sunset from manorola high point hope they will allow to go on top

Hi! Unfortunately I can't help with the boat since we didn't take the boat at any time during our stay in Cinque Terre. We only used the trains. I'm pretty sure there are some viewpoints outside of the hiking trails which you can access 😊
When
Thanks for the information.May I ask about restroom, do they have a lot and do we have to pay?

Usually you have to pay a small fee if you're not a customer at a restaurant or cafe etc. :)
Awesome video! How long does it take to see all villages if it's done in one day.
@MillaExplores
Жыл бұрын
Thank you! If you're only there for one day, I suggest choosing 2 villages and exploring those. We were in Cinque Terre for 3 days and only got to see 4 out of 5 villages, mostly due to the trains getting delayed/cancelled. 😅

@@MillaExplores I’m traveling in November. Is it a good time to visit? Heard it becomes rainy.
@MillaExplores
10 ай бұрын
I've read that November is still a good time to visit and the hikes might be much more nicer with the colder weather compared to summer months, but I'm guessing it depends a lot on how lucky you get with the weather. It's much more peaceful with less people and I'm guessing many places might be closed during that time. A very different experience, but still worthwhile nonetheless I'm sure! :)
What do you think about going in the beginning of October ?
@MillaExplores
Жыл бұрын
I think October would be a very good time to visit! I read somewhere that the ''shoulder season'' of September to mid-October is a great time to travel to Cinque Terre since the weather is still pleasant and it's less crowded than during the summer months. 😊 I say go for it! 🙌🏾
What about the first week of June
@MillaExplores
Жыл бұрын
I haven't been then but I imagine it being quite crowded all June until late August when many people are on summer holidays. You have to check it out yourself 😊
Is it possible to stay at the beach in La Spezia ?

La Spezia is located on the coast so I'm sure you can find something on the beach or at least near the beach 😊
How about visiting in November?
@MillaExplores
Жыл бұрын
November could be a really great chance to visit Cinque Terre without the crowds! The weather can be rainy and a bit colder what I've read, so just keep that in mind. ☺️
What do do you think visit in 28-29 June?

We were a group of 4 traveling so at least one of us was always watching our belongings 😊 If I'm traveling solo I get a waterproof bag that I can bring in the water with my valuables, or ask someone who seems thrustworthy if they could watch my belongings ☺️
