Portimão is in my opinion the most "correct" city in the Algarve. Monumentality and practicality go hand in hand here with beauty and harmony. A reasonable balance of urbanism and nature, tourist bustle and philistine monotony. There are a sea and a river here, and diverse beaches make it possible for everyone to choose a place to their liking.
But, even after spending a few days in this city, you will not be able to fully experience all its diversity if you do not sit on a bicycle. It is the bike ride that is the best guide to Portimão, and the bike route below is one of the most impressive in the Algarve!
