I bought 4 Seville Classics. 2 lasted 1 year. The other maybe 3. 1 left. Is impossible to open them and clean the system.

*This fan is everything I wanted in a desk fan and more. It looks great for **Fastly.Cool** my room , it puts out a wonderful amount of air. Is very easy to use.I just keep it plugged in.*

BEFORE YOU BUY THE SEVILLE - Unfortunately, a LARGE amount of the reviews on Amazon for it say that it stopped working in the first year; I mean a LOT of the reviews. Buyer beware

We really hate relying on statistics in our recommendations, but even the higher-rated Lasko still has an 8% one-star review rate with similar tales of frustrating failure. Dyson has few failure reports, but you're spending less money on the Seville even if you can't get a replacement under warranty and you have to re-buy every two years for a decade. (And we do like it better as a fan.)

@@bunnytime1 nope, it is a comparison my friend. Dyson have failures too, but the Seville is much cheaper. Nobody says every year, they said two years, because the guarantee is two years. That means IF it will broke after two years you can buy 5 pieces for the same price, what is a decade.

not my Seville. Four years Great fan and still work Perfectly. Bought it originally at Costco and mistakenly bought another one that looked like the Seville, not a good fan. Check the brand first before buying it. I went on line to purchase another one when I came upon this. I am a customer and based on the performance and longevity of the Seville fan I purchased four years ago at Costco (no longer there), I would highly recommend it.

candy5742 a fan won’t cool your house, if just moves cool air which cools you down. Your house will be the same temp

Lasko is the way to go. They been making fans forever and they last
