Ranthambore National Park is located between the Aravalli and Vindhya hills in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeast Rajasthan. Ranthambore is connected by rail to Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Kota. Ranthambore is about 180 km by road from Jaipur. The distance from Kota to Ranthambore is about 110 kilometers. The nearest airport to Ranthambore National Park is Jaipur.

One jungle expert explained that these animals think that humans sitting inside the vehicle are also part of the vehicle just like branches and leaves of a tree, they treat them as a single entity. They know that vehicle can't be eaten and it doesn't threaten them, so generally they don't target but the moment you come out of that vehicle it can pounce on you.

I've been ranthambore and corbett. There was one part of corbett where the road was dug up and mounds were made either side. So your head was basically level with the mounds either side of the road. I really didnt want to see a tiger then
