I use to be stationed at nas Jax, i went ever weekend unless it was raining but sometimes even if it was raining lightly sometimes lol. I use to drive down from Jacksonville to Daytona to go to new beaches and flagler is one of my favorite beaches of Florida. It didn't seem so packed all the time like st Augustine, Jacksonville, and Daytona so i really got to relax at these lesser visited beaches

been in Fl my whole life of 45 years & still much I haven't seen yet. Thinking about visiting Flagler this May. I usually go to Daytona Beach, but it has gotten very boring over the years.

I went to the Keys all the way to Key West a few years ago & it's nice to look at, but I didn't see any real beach to enjoy down there & mostly bars & a few tourist attractions which I did check out a few of them, but nothing I really wanted to go back to.

​@billybob-ro6qf Fort Zackery state park has a really good beach with a nice fort to explore as well. Also Bahia honda has a excellent beach as well. One of the best I think. Great for camping if you can manage to book a site.

Iv been visiting Flager for 20 yrs for a great vacations with family not happy with the big hotel going up I just don’t like changes like this to a small town vibe they call this progress I guess .

What a shame that they allowed a tacky hotel right where the property was used as a park .

Hiding out here during Bike Week? Traffic on the Ormond Beach Loop is full of Bikers enjoying the view. High Tides/Snack Jacks has reopened after repairs were made because of Hurricane Ian. Thanks for the update.

You explained why Flagler Beach is going away. State is scheduled to make a 4 lane road along the beach. Expect multiple high rises along the beach. This one my favorite old Florida, I will miss it. I hope Margaritaville does not come and I the citizens protect their city.

Is Flager Beach on the way to Saint Augustine? I am a Floridian for over 60 years born and raised and my favorite place to go to is Saint Augustine. Love your videos and you have a very soothing voice too.

Chad. Are there any hotels in Flagler that are okay? Or just Palm Coast?

Very nice. I used to surf but I have MS now and can barley work. I usually walk on piers. You said it will be fixed by 2025 is the pier operational at all? What towns near by are good for living>? I have been too much hurricane damage her e to want o live in town!
