They’re all made with clean, nutrient-dense ingredients, including dates, nut butter, and dried fruit. You get all the satisfaction of a candy bar without excessive refined sugar, corn syrup, and artificial ingredients. And they only take a few minutes to make.

Pro Tip 1 - lay them face down and press on them to get them to stick a bit to the parchment paper and keep them from moving around and stay nice and tight Pro Tip 2 - overlap them on one side just a bit so that when you press them down that side will glue together, keeping them more intact instead of them coming apart when you smooth out the nut butter over them Just made them about an hour ago, by the 3rd one I did it this way. 10000x easier !!!

I used plain almonds. But you can also use roasted. The recipe is very forgiving :)
Okay. I made these after watching this video...exactly the way she did it. I thought rolling the dates flatter was a good idea...not. I don't recommend it. The dates stuck to the parchment paper and the peanut butter and chocolate came off separately when I was trying to take them off the paper. Next time, I will keep the date halves whole and fill them with the peanut butter and chocolate.
