I’m a professional musician and all of my most valued skills were born out of this type of setting in North and South Carolina. This teaches you the necessity and role of music and develops a musicians character! I’m so thankful for this. It’s priceless and by that I do mean that folks pay BIG for what God taught me for free! 🙏🏾

I will be singing this all day tomorrow at work I remember when the whole church was the praise team and all of us just sang from our hearts. To me this was true worship but the stuff they have now everyone has to be a recording artist or close to it. AMEN.I Play the Tambourine in my church and there is no better way to praise the G -D who taught us to play as young children.

The Tambourine is the 💓 Heartbeat of the church and still is no matter what!! I love 💓 it 😍, it has always been my instrument of choice.

I love how they are sitting there waiting patiently to tear them tambourines up 🤣

I always loved the tambourine battles that occur spontaneously in worship.

@@gl6996 Speaking of fans. I moved from NC to Ok and one of the biggest things that I missed, was the choir anniversaries and going to sing at different churches. It would be soooooo hot. We, as kids, were happy with our cookies, red juice, pimento cheese sandwich piece and, those colorful mints!!!😌 Good times

I knew it was gonna get serious when she started rattling that thing. Then she was leaning too. I was like “lean with it rock with it”.

That just reminded me of when I just started out about 18 yrs ago, all we had was a few tambourines & shak-shaks(small gourds filled with beads & a stick on one end). We had no guitars, no drum set, no keyboard. Now watching this video makes me wanna go back to what I once knew, worship service was lovely, I'm filled with nostalgia on the inside. Even how she started chiming the tambourine at the beginning of the song that's the same way I used to play it when the worship song was very slow. ALL GLORY TO JESUS.

Wow I used to see them when they visited my family's home church Bethel AME on hwy 96 Selma NC I see them at other church programs and could never remember their names .They usher in a holy spirit even today before everybody got to high and mighty and cute to Praise for free everybody is an artist
