I cut the tip off an 0304 idle adj down to the threads, works great and you don’t have to worry to much about backing it out all the way

IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY SINCE THE RELEASE OF IT, I wanted to stunt one because im getting an R7 or a MT07, I just wanted to see a build first and now i have!

I never really liked the idea of the r7 but after watching this it might be the next big stunt bike

with the torquie twin I can see this being a fun ass stunt bike.

I think the r7 is a really cool bike. Tons of inline 4 engines and they are dope but I don’t wanna go 160 and the torque is so fun.

So other than the idle adjustment - it sounds like an R7 could be making its way to the channel soon! You said it took you about 10 mins to get comfortable on this thing, how long would it usually take you to get comfortable on some other ready-to-ride stunt bikes?

They make idle adjusters too, as long as you make sure you are directly connecting to throttle body or cable and not trying to adjust the factory idle setting which relays on ECU and is not direct connect (bunch of problems)

dude i noticed it like, really noticed it. i immediately wished i had the cash to make it a stunt bike. as i've only ever heard of its great torque and wheelie fun it could have. as a learner in m y country i got to try one at a training course and i feel in love with mt 07. so if i get the chance to make that dream boat a stunter i'd do it in a heart beat man. even if i'll never get to have as much fun as you guys, as abs is a law requirement here >.

I just bought 2 wreaked street triples to build a stunt bike. And now I’m thinking of selling them both and trying to beat another guy to be the first r7 stunt in Australia. Sadly they aren’t out yet but when they are I know we are both going to try getting our hands on one

This is exactly what Yamaha needs to do!! The R7 did an amazing job of bringing together super sport styling with a street friendly engine. The biggest complaint about the R7 it's power. It would make sense to have a more powerful street/super sport such as an R9. If they do exactly like they did with the MT07 to R7 with the MT09 to R9 they would have the bike that fits the way the majority of sport bike riders ride. Mainly on the street but still packing a super sport punch. I'm buying an R7 but would buy an R9 in a heartbeat if it were available.
