@@covertgoblue “Revenge Builds” is absolutely crushing it’s predecessor LOLOTR (which was a great idea on paper, but not in practice sadgely)

The game against bolas is very relatable. I will regularly think through the actions and mix up order in the same way when playing it out.

As far as the interaction at 39:00 goes, Tidebinder's only ability applies as it enters the battlefield. Losing its abilities at that point doesn't matter in the same way that losing abilities doesn't remove buffs from firebreathing activated before abilities are stripped.

Also, as far as layers are concerned, since both effects are "loses all abilities", they apply in the same layer.

@@therealax6 Yeah, but that'd cause a dependency (CR 613.8). If Tidebinder's ability-stripping was performed by a static ability rather than a continuous effect (i.e.: an ability that should exist in order to work), Sludge Monster's ability would change what things the Tidebinder's static can affect (i.e.: nothing), so Sludge Monster would be applied first. Ashaya with Blood Moon is my go-to example of stripped abilities that still do their thing despite not existing, but it's applied first *because* of dependencies rather than in spite of it. Ashaya changes the number of things Blood Moon can affect, so Blood Moon is dependent on Ashaya and must be applied afterward.

I have a Sludge Monster in my Kira, Great Glass-Spinner deck and that card does work. Blue has some very underrated creatures.

Blue also has the most POWERFUL creatures as well. Agent and Consecrated both immediately come to mind

Tidebinder's triggered ability already resolved and set up a continuous effect with the duration of "until this leaves the battlefield". Tidebinder losing its ability doesn't retroactively make that continuous effect not work.

Its ok CGB the audio is perfect so the video can be as choppy as it wants

At 33:40 I don't think there was any way to play Haven AND cast Sludge monster? You have 4 mana sources, Kiora is at most +2 on a Haven enchanted land so you have 6 mana available, Sludge + Haven is 7

CGB, it was cute when you first started leaning into the Winny complaining mocking of your audience. But now you seem to do it on every video and you have to ask...Do you really think that it is enjoyable to watch this every single day?
