about halfway into the video, instant fusion is mentioned. it is indeed very mid if you only use it as a non searcheable 1-of in branded despia to get out like, mudragon. but, its searcheable through keeper, and there is another instant fusion target, the predaplant level 5. that engine gets you access into darlingtonia cobra which either gets you branded fusion, or something like super poly. now am i saying its superior to more standard builds of branded? hell no, it takes up your normal, its an even more discard heavy build which means keeping up hand advantage is tough, and you have even less space in extra. I do like it tho, and its quite funny, because keeper is another anti ash card, cus keeper has that funny line where it can go for a dragoon before ever committing to branded fusion. it also can gimmick puppet lock by itself, whereas aluber also needs cartesia to gimmick puppet lock. although keepers puppet lock is much frailer given its a 1 card as opposed to a 2 card.

I think the schieren tech is particularly brutal for looping extra deck monsters you wanna keep in rotation, especially a spent gurdian chiera so that you may loop it again without playing another one.

Imo extra deck space is really tight in branded and since i personally dont play siper poly this format i cut maximus from my list. However i still play nadir. The line goes nadir dump sprind add albaz endphase sprind special kitt, kitt add high spirits chain high spirits dump albaz dump albion add merc albion set branded in red. Thn you go into mj in oppnents turn with merc in hand. If you have either albaz or quem/opening already in hand the combo gets infinitely better because you would have quem cartesia on field with mj

This is interesting, never thought of this line of play. Also, by doing what you're doing here, you don't risk blindly helping a Voiceless player or another Branded/Dogmatika player by dumping their ED monsters, like Maximus does. I'm gonna try this out.

glad i could help out, it has been my standard nadir line since maximus is as you said very risky if you face alot of branded or voiceless

super niche but based you can fusion dup instant fusion for winda and nadir with apkalone

Borreload furious dragon is also a target for duality, we can tribute any one of the lubellions since they are light dragons level 8 and furious is dark dragon level 8

Simul archfiends is imo better than dimensional barrier because tenpai can go into a link otk with promethian princess and raging phoenix

@ordelmorris3382 honestly it just depends on what you want to do with Branded but deck count isn't as important as ratios are you can run 60 and brick fest or have a Deck that can cycle through cards easily and a better grind game because of it

yes you can, but if ur looking to top some events u should pick some thrusts up. they add alot of consistency and tech options for side and main u wouldnt wanna miss. if u dont play thrust u should not main fusion duplication imo.

imo fusion duplication is a 3 off even without thrusts, its just too good to special cartesia or albaz if you alr. have cartesia so u can special summon. And if you play dragoon u can even special dark magician. If you dont play thrust you should concider playing nadir tho because it lets you keep playing if you get ashed on fusion. Nadir alone gets you to alot of stuff but nadir+albaz or quem is full combo. Not good going second tho
