Bernardo Faria is a 5x World Champion. Bernardo started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Juiz de Fora - MG, Brazil at the age of 14 in 2001. After receiving the Black Belt from his first instructor Ricardo Marques in 2008, He moved to Sao Paulo to join BJJ legend Fabio Gurgel and his Alliance team. After many years of training and winning many major titles, Bernardo moved to NYC in 2013 to train and teach at Marcelo Garcia Academy. In 2015 Bernardo achieved his dream of winning the IBJJF World Championship Open class title and his division, doing the double Gold and becoming the 1st in the IBJJF Ranking and also chosen as the best athlete of 2015.

@@BallstinkBaron lol they literally have the greatest jiu jitsu coach of all time teaching everything he knows. The rule of thumb is, Be Seen. Be heard. And he's not heard. Like this guy's creating an encyclopedia of Jiu-Jitsu, his life's work, something that he will be remembered for when he's dead, that generations will reference. and he ain't mic'd.

This man is arguably the greatest bjj instructor alive and yall cant stop crying about the volume/mic etc. Its a free video on youtube. Get a job and buy some paid content and then you might have some grounds for complaining

Is it not weird that both Gordon and placedo were extremely skinny guys and now they’re heavy? I’ve seen pics of placedo s dad he was a big guy but this seems to be more than just man weight.

@@marcos_c_m Everything you said applies to any guard in bjj. So if you take somebody and end up in their guard, should you not get points? Only give points for takedowns ending in side control, north south, or mount? Of course not.
