Thank you so much for this comparison. Really well made and informative - your efforts are appreciated 😄👏
Great video, very helpful. One note, idk if it is my poor speaker calibration but I had to eq your bassy voice down to stop my room from shaking.
Awesome review

@@arielle_australia I'm not really sure. I'm researching now. Your review made me rethink my criteria. I.e. stability, sturdiness and return policy (Now after much research, perhaps a one piece desktop as some have multiple parts to the top surface) My budget is $400 - $800 AUD.
One of the best reviews I've seen on the internet. I wish Ominidesk was also on the list. What are your thoughts on that?

Thanks! Check out my more detailed report - just search for "Arielle Best Standing Desks" on Google. Omnidesk is good, but is basically the same as Desky. Same frames and controllers with a different logo, but often at a higher price.
Great comparisons. Which surface option is the one you showed in the video for Artiss?
Nice review, what desktop finish did you have for the Artiss desk? or was it custom?
I wish I could find review videos on the battlestation reaper from elevate ergonomics
I've been researching for my upgrade from Ikea standing desk and really thinking of getting hardwood. I see that Desky now offers a range of hardwood options (Pheasant, Walnut, Oak, Ash, etc.) but sourced overseas. What are your thoughts on those versus UpDown's messmate? Also for UpDown messmate would you suggest recycled or new? Thanks!
I'm researching to find my first standing-up desk for my home office. Anyone who can afford and is willing to pay $2000 on a desk will buy one of the top 3 in Australia, and the rest of us will spend our money on the Artiss or one of the dozens available online and here in Perth for under $600.

I agree, Didier. I owned an Artiss for quite some time and was happy with it.
what do you think about Fortia Desk from mystopia, I was interested in corner standing desk which comes to $633 with 2 years extended warranty
Doesnt desky have desk charging and and rotating dial and also bluetooth to phone?
silly unrealated question Whats that nice matte black modular wall shelf system you showed for a brief moment there?. Been looking for something outside the ikea standards for a while now
Has anyone tried installing Desky accessories eg PC bracket to an UpDown Desk?
what about 4 legged stand up desks?
Glad that there is finally a sit stand desk review from Australia. However, I think the points calculated from each session is kind of misleading. I am also looking for my sit stand desk recently. For me, I focused on the stability and build quality on top of every other factors. If the review can tell the difference between two product in same comparison category, it will definitely help to make the purchase decision. For example, if there is a features that I want most, I will definitely consider it even out of my original budget. Another example is it will be a best to measure the difference by using some figures. BTODtv has done a similar things, they have methods to measure the levelling speed and wobble. Another things is that maybe it is best to talk the product one by one? And it also seems that you speak a little too fast. Just my personal thoughts. Finally, good work.

I hear what you're saying, though most mid and top-range desks on the Australian market have similarly high levels of stability. In fact, most of them use the same leg supplier in China. The American market is much more diverse, with a lot more cheap options, which is why BTOd went to great lengths to test for wobble.
Outstanding review!
It was a good review, but it seems like you kind of missed the point of even having a price category when you gave them all the same rating for price... Like, um, what? You said the Artiss came last but that you didn't feel good about it... Yeah, because you needed to take the price into account, and you DIDN'T. How these things are supposed to be done is you work out what a reasonable weighting would be for price and then multiply the worse product's final score by that (say, 1.5x because it's the cheapest one or whatever), and then if it's the highest, then you say it's the best VALUE, even though it's not the best.
Hey mate where do you get your deskshelf ? Or monitor riser?
@arielle_australia
Жыл бұрын
The deskshelf is from Desky. The laptop monitor arm is from Northday.
which one do you think is better: flexispot ec1 or Artiss??
@arielle_australia
Жыл бұрын
Artiss is better - because the EC1 is a single-motor design.
Hey there Arielle, I saw you comment on a design related video and came to your channel, I see that you started posting again after a long break, I run a design agency and I think we could help you edit some of these videos so you have more time record content and upload consistently, Also we suggest leveraging the content you already produced for KZread into short form content for this and other platform would be highly beneficial for your brand since that kind of content is performing substantially better than others. Would love to connect, let me know if this would interest you

Makes absolutely no sense to give them the same score for price when they vary so drastically
the fact that OMNIDESK accent or 2020 model is not on the top of this list is amazing but its not even on the list??? base model is $650 and $520 artiss is a bunnings brand lol

Flexispot is a US retailer. It doesn't make sense to ship one from the US when plenty of domestic options are available. They appear to have an Australian Amazon store, but it doesn't stock models with wireless chargers. Did you see something different?
Great info but your voice audio editing meant I had to stop watching! Gotta find a way to smooth out all those edits.
