What are your thoughts on biosteel?
Nice content! Along with coconut water, I think natural fruits like mandarins, various berries, cantaloupe and natural lemon/lime water might help loads as well to replenish..
great video wish it had more popularity super informative
I’m training for fighting, kickboxing for now mma later, started with Gatorade moved to Powerade because it’s slightly healthier and cheaper but after this video I’ll be implementing coconut water as soon as I can find where to buy it in bulk

That’s awesome to hear man. Idk how bulk you’re looking for but Costco has a solid product

You might also like biosteel and/or roar organic
I drink plain water but think that the salt option might be better on very hot days as i can struggle to hydrate fast enough. That could be a very cheap and natural alternative.
Really solid analysis
What about BYLT Sports Drinks? They use Palatinose and plant based BCAAs along with 29 fruit and vegetable extracts for antioxidants.
I'm a novice about this aspect of hydration, but I do spend about 3 hours in the gym 4/7. I'm sure I can't be alone here, but before I get to the gym, I pop a multivitamin with orange juice, then I drink a little 5.5oz can of V8 on the way (which tastes great), then take my water with me. I get more of the ingredients talked so much about and more, and feel great the whole time. I bring an extra V8 and a protein shake I can also go to, but I'm only 10 minutes away from the gym. I realize runners and cyclists can't do this, but I was so wrapped up in finding the right workout drink, wasting time on that and then I found all those ingredients are in my fridge and medicine cabinet already. These water drinks have conjured an artificial need that does not exist for me. I reuse the same bottles all the time, filter my own tap water and don't have to mix anything in it. I put all that and extra water in a little 6-pack flexible cooler and I'm good. Great video and very informative; thank you.
My favorite brand of coconut water is Mojo. They taste great, use only a few ingredients, only 2g of added sugar per can (I dont like the taste of 0g added sugar for coconut water) and if you live somewhere with a Food Lion, you can get them for 1.19 per can.
What about the whole concept of keto and forgoing calories to burn fat? what if you're just drinking water?
What do you think about bio steel ? Appreciate your time and channel

Better than most
What’s the difference between added and natural sugars? As in drinking something with only natural vs one with only added, and with both having the same amount of sugar.

I think is because natural sugar is easier for our body to break down compared to processed cause it's more artificial
I’ll go with sugar. I’m not allergic to any foods, but I pay attention to how my body reacts to different things. Every artificial sweetener makes me throw up and it doesn’t begin slowly with some nausea. Anything my body wants to eject IMMEDIATELY is something I’m not pursuing. After being hospitalized for over a month with all the drugs that implies, I found that once I began working out, drinking lemon water was best. I could literally feel it cleaning out my body through sweat. As I improved and began to work out again I simply took a low dose of potassium. It’s water soluble, so doesn’t build up and, as a bonus, if you take a little too much you’ll discover your mouth kind of tastes like artificial salt.
I just throw a teaspoon of cream of tartar and a quarter teaspoon of pink salt in my smoothie, in the morning.
And body armour has Citric acid in it And I’m not saying you can’t drink it
I am a hockey goalie who sweats so much great videos
cool content !!
I like to drink arizona marvel lxr sports drink.
Coconut water and Beet root.
Since when are the Himalaya anywhere near the sea? And how is that salt any different to regular salt? (Except for lack of iodine.). Wouldn’t water be the best choice of a natural sorts drink? Just sayin’.

So here’s the thing, don’t be a troll. Do you know why it is called Himalayan sea salt? Well first, the mines are indeed from the Himalayas. Second, the salt mines are deposits from when the sea met that area in the Himalayas. It has since receded thousands of years later to become salt mines. It is different than regular Sodium chloride (table salt) for a few reasons. Table salt has more sodium. So naturally people gravitate towards the pink salt for having the same benefits of a salt additive without the large amounts of sodium. Also the Himalayan salt has minerals and other beneficial elements to it. As far as natural sports drink, of course water is great. Unfortunately, when you exert more energy, and I’m talking marathon level activities like he mentioned, you need more than just water to complete the marathon. You do need those electrolytes and that sodium etc. to keep you going. Just sayin’.

Contains way more nutrients than your standard salt. And not if you’re extremely active because your body needs nutrients & electrolytes

Prime or Gatorade
I drink ready even though it does not taste that good
Hey man I play soccer and at times I feel a lack of energy and a slight heaviness in my legs(not due to dehydration or sleep). Being a very high intensity sport, what drink would u recommend? I just need a good and healthy boost of energy.

what time are your matches? i'm not as informed as the guy making this video but sometimes it helps to have some caffeine
Look up santa cruz paleo electrolytes
I’m forced to turn to zero sugar options cause since I have ADHD, sugar is a complete no go in my world. And I don’t want to hear from anyone how wrong I am, cause it’s my brain. Not yours. And I know how I act on sugar. And I don’t like it.
Have you heard of Biolyte? It’s interesting, saltiest sports drink I’ve ever tasted
Im drinking nútrame y and Gatorade. I’ll have a redbull here and there. I go to the gym 5x a week for two hours. Full body workout plus Military trainings throughout the year. I don’t like to eat at certain times, makes me feel sluggish when I’m training or working. Hence the Nutrament
isotonic sports drink
Bio steel should be on this list

I thought were going to say water, not it depends. lol 😢
Love the fact that we got the same view, GIVE ME THE SUGAR. Do not like alternatives at all.
