@@IdiotBox86 no Sony for me pls, not a Sony fan. And also this misses HDMI IN port which is primary requirement since my TV doesn't have HDMI arc&earc so will be plugging my Amazon firetv 4k max into soundbar HDMI in port and connect normal HDMI cable to HDMI port of tv and soundbar.

PLEASE SUGGEST BETWEEN samsung HW-B550 OR JBL SB190? I WANT A DECENT BASS NOT MUCH BOOM BOOM. I HAVE A SMALL SPACE AROUND 200SQ.FT. I got Blaupunkt 2.1 soundbar since 3 years. It has wonderful sound. No issues, except remote buttons have to be pressed hard. Blaupunkt has some glitches but sound is at par with the top ones according to me. Their pricier TWS are also great but have some connectivity issues. Still the tuning is very good. What suggestions you have for a good 5.1 under 25000. I'm looking for JBL, LG or again Blaupunkt, may be Samsung.

The Samsung HW-B550 is the new generation version of the Samsung HW-A550. The performance of both the soundbars is the same. go for whichever one fits your budget as there is almost no difference in performance.

@idiot Box What's your take on lg sp8a? is it worth spending 25k on this sound bar. Also, I have two other sound bars in mind Samsung b550xl and jbl sb190. My hall is 220 sq ft(22x10). My requirement is clear vocals and good bass and bass should not over power vocals while watching movies and music on youtube. Is samsung b550 as loud as jbl sb 190?

considering your use case, I'd go with the Samsung as they have the sound signature which matches your needs.

How come you miss JBL Cinema 270/271? Please review it and make a comparison with Polk Audio Signa S2. I have to bye one of them either in BBD or in Diwali sale, but am still confused.

Yes you can get the bar as long as your TV has optical out. You will have to visit an offline store and see if the wireless rear speakers are available for the soundbar which can be added later on. ​@@user-jh8sl8js3h in that case, why don't you consider a soundbar with aux input as well? When I had an old TV with only AUX out, I used the following two speakers till I upgraded my TV. First was the Klipsch Promedia 2.1. But for some reason, these are too expensive in India now. The second option is also quite good; a friend of mine still uses my speakers after I upgraded. If surround speakers are important, then go for the Sony. If you want a loud bar, go for the Samsung.

It supports Dolby Digital & DTS Virtual X Experience. It has one HDMI pass-through port but only supports 1080p and SDR. no 4K or HDR.

Have you ensured the cable is in the correct port? ARC port on the tv and the bar? Check the settings of the bar. Also in the sound settings of the tv try and change the source to HDMI ARC. Let me know if this works.
