All quite dark games…got to have some Psychonaughts 2 for something lighter as a single player

Star Wars outlaws! I’m also looking forward to the remaster of system shock. I played system shock 2 on PC decades ago, and it was awesome! But this will be the first time that I played the first game.

Idk if Gaurdians of the Galaxy is still on gamepass (and i know this isnt a gamepass video) but if it is, thats a great single player experience as well.

How do you not have KCD on this single player list?! Especially with the sequel releasing later this year. Do me proud

Do love a Viking setting, do you think it's your favourite Assassin's Creed game out of the series?

Alien Isolation is well worth a play if you like the films. It's dark, very intense and has a great story. Probably the scariest game I've ever played.

Oh my Gosh yes, played it a few years ago and that is SUCH a good narrative, kept me clueless all along it was so good

Its almost kind of sad seeing skyrim as the thumbnail for best games to play in 2024. I feel like 2011 was just yesterday and i could only have dreamt of what gaming would be like in 2024 after Skyrim released. Quality has really just dropped right off the table since then though and here we are.

Yeah but it’s also such a timeless classic it got remastered and there’s no much great lore and story that it’s still top tier. It’s good to remember a few easily accessible classics some people never played.

You’re right. Honestly, I lost much of my interest in video games over the last decade. I think the last game that I thoroughly enjoyed was ‘Shadow of Mordor’.

Baldurs Gate 3...very big gap...Cyberpunk 2077/PhL, Starfield. If Monster Hunter counts as SP game you can put both World and Rise into the very big gap. My 2 cents.

Great list, but I think you should have also put Persona 5 Royal or Persona 3 Reload on the list. They're really some of the lengthiest, and best, singleplayer RPGs out there IMO.

What a unique story Banishers is, reaaally enjoyed playing through it

Switched off after two mins having heard “narrative” used dozens of times. There are more words 😂

Lowkey always feel Xbox single player list are watered down cuz the best single player console is ps5 wit the second best being Nintendo.

I thought Starfield was a HUGE disappointment. To hand somebody a disk and say “here go figure this out”, Is ludicrous! I spent hours just buzzing around, trying to explore, but not accomplishing anything because I had no freaking idea what the hell I was doing. So now it sits collecting dust and that’s where it will stay.
