In this video, we will be visiting a shopping center in Downtown Montreal called Eaton Centre / Le Centre Eaton de Montréal. I filmed this video on November 14, 2020 with my GoPro Hero 7 Black.
The Montreal Eaton Centre is a shopping mall in Downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The mall is accessible through the Underground City, and is connected to the Montreal Metro via McGill station. The Montreal Eaton Centre opened in 1990.
In 2018, it absorbed its adjacent sister mall Complexe Les Ailes and the two shopping centres were combined into a single property which retained the Montreal Eaton Centre name. As such, the property consists of two separate buildings at 677 Saint Catherine Street West (the former Eaton's flagship store which became the Complexe Les Ailes mall in 2002) and 705 Saint Catherine Street West (the former Les Terrasses mall, which became the original Montreal Eaton Centre).

Thank you thank you thank you. I love this mall. I used to be there at least 3 times per week. Some levels are different but street level looks the same. I love the Teriyaki chicken they cook there....

They almost finished renovating it, I really like how fresh and modern it looks now :)
Another great video....enjoyed seeing all the stores...I have a feeling most are very expensive.

listening to the weeknd - save your tears while watching because I have memories of this city growing up & it’s alittle sad watching it.. especially the food court is closed down :( but the mall is pretty.

Great memories attached to eaton center , in 1987 when this mall was under construction we hang around at ice cream bar Swanson and shawarma place Basha which was located at Other side of the mall. It looks little different now but still loved it, thanks for showing the places where I spent best days of my life

Basha is still there :)) I work in Downtown Montreal and go visit them sometimes, I just grab a pitta with a drink, their plates are huge :)

@@ElenaWalks love Basha's food and there was another similar restaurant Dunia at 2nd floor on St Catharine towards Du fort and they had great food as well. Sad to know that Swanson is gone , thanks for the info 🙂

Eaton Center in Montréal is much more cosy and elegent compare to the Eaton Center in Toronto. Toronto Eaton Center is bigger but it feels empty and sterile.

Yes, it is the largest in the heart of Downtown Montreal, but we also have Carrefour Laval, the largest shopping mall in the province of Quebec. I have a video of it as well.
Omg they turned the food court into a sterile cemetery!??? WTF?? Its so cold and monotonous now. All the individual and cultural elements of the different food spots have been erased! Ugh... what I wouldn't give to be back in the 80's. Was such a different world. So much more human experience. This age-of-the-app is depressing.
