best shop apron / apron for woodworking

This shop apron is great. Its 16oz waxed canvas apron. Super durable and light weight. I plan on wearing this from now on. I really like the double stitched pockets with steel rivets. This thing is built to last.

Being a novice to the world of woodturning who would have known (you obviously:)) that there is a science to having the right apron - thank you for the education.

Thanks Dany. I'm barely a novice myself. I was just trying to save some shirts from paints and stains, and of course, glue. So I tried out this apron. I just fell in love with it. Super comfortable. Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍

I thought it looked like yours. Lol. I hope to get a few years out of mine. It's funny, I have ruined so many shirts with paints and stains. Now that I have the apron I'm super careful not to get anything on it. Lol. I'm sure that will wear off in time.

Nice looking apron, Mike. I have an ancient Rockler apron that they don't sell anymore. It has awful straps on top that dig in like you mentioned. If it ever wears out, I will give the Eco Zen a look see. Thanks for the video.

Great video mike. Seems like a good apron for a good price. I was going to get a kevlar apron after getting hit in the chest from a flying piece of wood with my old table saw, lol. For a quick second I thought Amazon used one of my pictures for the guy in the apron, lol.

Good review Mike. I like the covered pockets, especially when turning on the lathe. Lately I've been using an Army jacket when turning like the one Mike Peace (You Tube) uses. The sleeves and the neck line has velcro on it, keeping the chips out! I've been thinking about one of the Katz-Moses aprons, haven't pulled the trigger yet. This one looks like a keeper too. :)

Great apron!!! We love our myth busters waxed cavas aprons from Adam Savage’s website. I use one of the loops for a T-shirt shop rag too. It’s really useful always being right there. I’d like to hear what you end up filling your apron with. #shopedc
