34 seconds and solved my issue. I was looking for info on why my PS5 controller wasnt working for the game unless i plugged it in directly to my PC with USB cable. Which is dumb. Sound even went out doing this. The General tab option to select input was all I needed. By default on PC it was set to kleyboard and mouse, therefore ignoring my controller input. Wasn't exactly what this video was for, but seeing that helped me fix my problem. Cheers.

Apperently, adding Skull and Bones to "Add a Non-Steam Game" from Steam Library for this to actually work, and ONLY works (for me) when I run the game client through Steam Library in this way. From there I can select contorller from General Tab in-game, then I change the overlay to Dualsense in the Controller tab so that on screen icons will match PS5 Controller. Works same as console with exception that the create button on controller becomes the Touch Pad assignment that brings up the map.

You definitely want the decouple camera on you have it off which means both sticks input your aim. You only want your aiming stick to input your aim.

I have my music off cause after 50 plus hours of the boat crew randomly singing every 45 seconds got old fast.

I need someone to break down these aim assist settings because the aim feels so shit. Iv tried various changes but have nit found a good setup. A separate ADS and camera sensitivity would be really good too.

That might explain why my game seems awfully white. I think red dead 2 was the same. Have to try it when I get home.
