Any one play R6 idk what to put the right stick on either dynamic or precise??

Is it possible to completely disable certain controls on MW3 with a DualSense? Accidentally changing to single fire when pinging/unpinging on the Dpad, as well as meleeing get me killed so often it’s infuriating. I can’t do tactical and feel like it’ll just ruin my right stick even more making that adjustment to try and stop me meleeing. I’ve tried remapping to the dpad but then it’s just weird and unnatural to melee with an arrow. Ideally I’d be able to take off the weapon inspect and fire mode altogether because it’s useless to me. Keep circle as slide, mapping right paddle to melee and R3 as nothing when I accidentally press the stick in would be perfect.

Changing ping to left paddle might also help. But I’m not arsed about jump and drop shotting, only changes that are practical for me.

You simply need to give your brain time to adjust to the new control schemes you set. Look up 'brain elasticity'. Do play on tactical. It is a necessary play style. It should be standard.

@@GFG2gifted After much deliberation I bought one, stupidly, considering I'm a casual gamer, most of my COD buddies stopped playing since WZ2 and I don't see playing on my own as a good use of my time. Exactly the same thing has happened as the MW2 lifecycle whereby I was hammering multiplayer for 2 months (having fun) and now I've barely picked up the controller in 2 weeks since going back to work after the Christmas holidays. So I haven't really given myself a chance to adjust and possibly never will, lol. But what I can say to anyone else considering it, to answer my original question, the answer is yes. You can literally map the buttons to anything using the Edge customisation software on PS. For instance, I have melee on default controls as R3, but can actually disable R3 so clicking the stick accidentally is no longer an issue. If I actually want to melee someone, I use the right back button. I think it's really cool that you can do that. One might even do the same with L3 for sprinting/hold breath and preserve their stick longevity in the process. In the right hands, it's a serious competitive advantage owning one of these with the near instant triggers and if you've got your back buttons/paddles mapped to movement mechanics though. But it's quite a steep learning curve if you've spent a lifetime using flagship controllers honestly.

I have it on dynamic (always have), but the last 2 weeks I’ve been feeling it way too fast. Dont know if something happened in the game.

I use 20-20 LINEAR ADS 65 LEFT PADDLE.CROUCH/SLIDE WITH:SLIDE MAINTAINS SPRINT. RIGHT PADDLE. JUMP/CLIMB.

These setting also the same for the latest Warzone ???

My dualsense edge controller keeps coming up as an Xbox controller in battlenet. Any ideas on how to fix it? Running DSX through steam and have it minimized when I launch Warzone

Default left stick Precise -3 right stick Then in game on apex linear 4-3 or 4-4 for air strafing horizons 🤣

I have both and once my warranty was out on my scuf, I had a hairline crack on my L2 trigger mechanism on Reflex FPS. I would go for a Dualsense Edge. Scuf could have easily avoided that if they used better materials & I believe they didn’t so customers could pay for repair which cost over $40 to fix problem.

Scuf controllers and BB controllers don't last long and they take FOREVER to ship. Definitely go with the PS controller.

I’ve had the dual sense since it came out no issues, once one of the sticks wears out I can buy another one. With scuff you have to send it in wait 3 months and pay for it.

def go for a dual sense, been with then for a year and no problems at all, just a minor stick drift but nothing crazy

I don’t get how anyone like precise in any game it’s so clunky and stupid I can’t move the right stick when using it
