First grade tutorial and presentation.. Learning to produce videos myself and I am humbled.....Great job!!

A good alternative to manual exposure settings is to program the front button for "exposure lock".. Leave the exposure in auto mode and get the drone in the air and face the camera toward the ground (eliminate the sky). Then press the exposure lock button and it will lock the exposure - worse case is the sky will occasionally be overexposed (that is ok), as the landscape will always be properly exposed no matter if you are facing toward or away from the sun or bright sky.. You can unlock and relock as needed on the fly (just remember to point the camera toward the landscape and eliminate any influence from the sky).. Much better and faster solution then trying to guess with manual settings using histogram..

Thanks for the video and all the tips. I just got a Spark myself and it is a little different from what I'm used to, so this video really helped. Now, I do have to mention one thing which in my opinion it is extremely important. I own a Mavic Pro which I use as a hobby and professionally, and as a video editor I have to tell you, that while in video mode, if one can set the shutter speed to 60 and completely avoid changing it, it will definitely help not only with the "cinematic look" but with all videos in general. Because the Spark only records video at 30 fps the shutter speed must be at 60 to create a more natural motion blur, otherwise whenever there's movement in the video it will look very weird. Now, because during sunny days it is impossible to have proper exposure without having to touch the shutter speed, then getting a set of ND filters for the Spark will solve this issue of having to get the shutter speed higher than 60 when it is too sunny.

I am new to the Spark and video editing. Using a Note8 with a remote and have no problem getting the original 1080p to download on the phone from the sd card. But when I make a clip on the app using the original video I don't know how to make an ending i.e, "The End" or "Thanks for Watching." The clip just abruptly ends. Can't find any youtube vids on it.

The problem I’m having is the stutter from the footage when I play it back on my MacBook (out of camera directly). I tried changing the FPS on editing programs and I’m getting various results but never smooth. It’s a shame that even normal playback out of the Spark has stutter.

In one of your video's you recommend with android galaxy’s S7 using a cable for better GPS signal would a cable help with iPhone or does the apple IOS system need to do this

Yeah its always good to go through the menus once in a while to make sure you're dialed in. I forget about this stuff sometimes before I fly too.

Great Video I have been telling people the same thing forever, the spark when setup correct shoots some amazing video, the key is when setup correct.

Hey Jeven, really great tutorial for drohne beginners. Thank you. I have two questions, both maybe already asked a lot. So I gladly take links. First how do I deal with problem of a two way gimbal? How can I compensate the jittery image, if I have to go sideways. Second I very often have a jumpy image when something passes my lens. For example I filmed a barge passing by my still standing drohne. Awesome shot but the drohne looked like jumping by in tiny steps. Don't know how else to put it. I even see it often in the video of pro-filmers, one million percent sure taken on a better drohne then the Spark. Thanks a lot for taking time to share.
