That's funny to me. Pride in the Bible is always a negative word, with only one single exception, the Pride of Judah, which is another tittle of Jesus Christ. Pride were the sin, who led Lucifer to fall and become Satan, according to Isaiah. It is yet another proof to me, that your church is not really founded in God's word, the Bible, as it should be, but really more in that hideous "white witch", the spirit of prophecy AKA Ellen G White. Do you know, how the BIBLE tells us to recognize a false prophet of God? If they ever make one prophecy, that does not come through, they can not be a prophet of God, but is a deceiver! Ellen G White were the prophet of The Millerites, which prophesied the coming of Jesus Christ in no less than three consecutive years in the mid 19th Century. How anyone in their right mind could build a church around such an already disproven false prophet two decades later is simply beyond me! Get out of the antichrist cult, and SDA is that too, by biblical definition: In the Bible the spirit of antichrist is defined in several verses as denying His deity. His godliness! Ellen G White defended in almost all of her many books, that Jesus Christ is Archangel Michael, which JW, her fellow Millerites, at least are so good as to defend in the open today, so all true Christians can mark them and avoid them as damned heretics, but which SDA only defends in closed quarters today and online. The matter of fact is though, your "spirit of prophecy" were the root of that modern day Arianism: Why would you follow such a person, instead of trusting and reading the Bible instead?
