Unless something crazy happens Simone will get gold on floor in Paris. The rest will be fighting for silver. She is at a whole different stratosphere. It’s truly amazing considering she is one of the shortest gymnast in the field.

Rebeca wasn't so far off in finals to be honest. But I wonder if Simone will bring back the Biles II

@@Plaspos I know right now she does not have the stamina to do much else in her floor routine, but give her a few more months and I think her bringing back the Biles II on floor will definitely be a possibility.

They need to seriously reconsider the composition of the team going forward. Floor has seen an improvement for sure but vault has become quite abysmal.

The current Chinese team doesn’t have high enough d-scores to medal. I wish China would add some powerhouse gymnasts to their team for vault and floor.

É só olhar a nota de dificuldade, a Gadirova só faz três passadas mas duas são de elementos com valores I e H. Ela basicamente substitui o que seria uma acrobacia de valor D, fazendo um giro de valor E e um salto C, por isso ela ainda chega a 6.3 de dificuldade, que é maior do que a da Rebeca com 4 passadas.

@@gabridb_ Era justamente o que eu vi um pessoal comentando, que a Rebeca poderia tirar o duplo carpado da série, já q de vez em quando n sai mt bom na chegada e colocar um giro a mais no lugar

And I hate it. Artistry is an excuse to force sexist stereotypes on women. A powerful woman who does superhero tumbling? Heaven forbid! She must balance it out with feminine, fairylike dance moves and theatrical facial expressions. 🙄

What’s crazy is Russian gymnast Viktoriia Listunova has scored 15.1 at Russian championships this year… the Olympics will be interesting

Her scores were very inflated , she is no where close to Biles level.The Russians are not going to the Olympics. They would have to apply to be neutral athletes and the rules are so strict it's unlikely the Russian Federation would allow their gymnasts to go.

Gadirova has poor splay angles and her landings are not good, and she has completely buried the Wolfturn.

FIG doesn't seem to be as interested in those kinds of things anymore as it is about how well you pose and dance.
