I think galavan's character is very underrated

22:53 and 16:14 The same music when Batman and the Joker fight in the final episode aka what I consider to be the Batman theme of this show other than Bruce's theme. Also Angel of Death is a Mask of the Phantasm reference I believe, there may be another reference before that

Theodore Galavan is not the real Azrael. The original or real Azrael is Jean-Paul Valley. Jean-Paul Valley has a flaming sword including the flaming battle projectile gauntlets. Theodore Galavan doesn't have a flaming sword and he also doesn't have the flaming battle projectile gauntlets. Jean-Paul Valley's quotes were I don't want to play games or fight with you Bruce, I am your best friend and it doesn't matter Bruce, God will protect us. Theodore Galavan didn't say any of these quotes.

Jean Paul Valley's father was also Azrael. He wasn't the first. Theo galavan isn't replacing Jean Paul. I know this show does characters out of order but you're right this isn't the azrael we know. Because this is one of his descendants. Is there any proof of this? No because the galavan line is kinda killed off but the order of st dumas still exists and probably has other members. There is nothing to prove this is the only azrael. One could say since he made up the identity, he is. But one could also say he's the first azrael to inspire all the others who worshipped him but never thought he was real. Then when Bruce is an experienced batman, Jean Paul valley comes.

Jean-Paul Valley-Original Azrael is fighting Theodore Galavan-Alternate Azrael in a church and up at the top of the roof of the skyscraper, unfortunately Theodore Galavan knocked Jean-Paul Valley out. After that, Jean-Paul Valley wakes up and goes straight into the Wayne Manor by saving Bruce and Alfred by stopping Theodore Galavan again, but then The Penguin showed up with his sidekick Butch by having his bazooka and kills Theodore Galavan. First of all, Jean-Paul Valley would never murder a priest he would save the priest from Theodore Galavan.

If only Taby could have "Reconditioned" Theo after his Resurrection...

I recommend ppl to watch the series in black and white. The writers called it Gotham by Noir light. Looks just as good. Even better in my opinion cuz of the shadows.

It always depends on who took up the mantle of Azrael. Like the other person who took up the name in Arkham Knight is a good guy if you make the right choice.

The order of st dumas is a fictional ....religion I guess? More like a cult. Azrael is not saying he's the Christian angel but the assassin and character from DC comics. The character is fictional. Relax. Although the cult originated in the time of the crusades, they don't say that or get into that in the show. Even then it's hardly relevant as it's more related to knights and the crusade. Just because there is a tiny bit of Christian history, not even in this show, just the comics, doesn't mean the organization is Christian. Besides azrael in the comics, the one that replaces batman, Jean Paul valley, becomes a good guy.

Question, do you believe indoctrination through fear is bad? Theo and Tabitha were indoctrinated as children. Both are bad people but Tabitha broke free while Theo made it his mission to carry out the orders of the church.
