Thanks a lot for this build! I managed to do the inferno dungeon at 57, i went away from shadow inbuement for dark shroud from another guide which felt off, this is by far the best variation I’ve found!

What a great explanation of the build highlighting the really important aspects (pun intended) and what is optional. You earned a subscribe, sir!

i'm not sure if this is the case for you as well. but I find a different aspect for the helm does sooo much better for my survival. At least it does right now. Later the shield one you have on is probably just objectively better. It's the aspect that heals you per stack of momentum. For me atm it's 55 health regen per second per momentum stack. so 165 health per second. It alleviates a lot of the danger when I'm stunned before shadow step, and when I dash through a pack and walk out waiting for twisting blades (too squishy to stand in the pack for long, and I'm not in sacred gear yet so they live for a good while). I'm topped back up very quickly without using a potion at all. However whenever i use the shield one. after the 10 second duration of the shield theirs still a lot left alive and i'm back to being squishy. that 20 second window is a lot of time to be under threat. I do find that shield superior during those 10 seconds, so any scenario where packs are mostly dead in that timeframe it's just better. But in my present case it isn't.

Stupid question but wouldn’t imbue poison sync better with poison traps than shadow imbue? I’m running almost the same build but with poison instead of shadows n I have no issues. I am curious how shadow would compare tho

Shadow is really nice when clearing mobs of enemies when you're alone. But against a boss it's kind of useless since the aoe damage wouldn't be useful with like a few enemies nearby if even. Gotta switch to poison for bosses From what I'm experiencing

I got a legendary that heals me 32 per second each momentum stack i have, so like 96 hps constantly is it just not that good? It feels really strong atm

I looked over a few skills you hovered during the Video. Looks like they already nerved some to the notes you used with your build like Concussive passive or the Advanced Twisting Blades note. Can you give an Update, if it still plays as smooth as earlier or do you notice the nerves a lot?

I cant tell a difference but I also haven't unlocked the highest difficulty yet, I feel like a lot of the nerfs are geared towards endgame only, people were pissing on the end game content which is the only reason for the nerfs I think

Great build. Beat capstone at 44 and struggled in WT3. Tried a bunch of variations of TB and flurry with no success. This one is awesome for a fresh WT3.

Hi I have a question. I play rogue. And I have a dagger that gives +% to basic attacks. Does it only apply to basic skills related to this weapon or does it also benefit basic distance weapon attack skills?

For all basic attacks of character, not only weapon.

Question is, how often should you move your powers over to the next higher level item? it gets expensive to do this with every upgrade? Be nice to get a video on upgrade management lol.

What I do is put the major ones I need like blade dancer on my amulet since that's a piece we don't upgrade as often

i did capstone to unlock t4 at lvl 56 its way too fun to give up

Meant to comment on this video, This build melts, I couldn't clear the 50 light stone dungeon but after making this build, H O L Y.

4:33 what was the nerf to inner sight btw? I noticed that on day 1, I could regenerate energy by spamming puncture. That’s no longer the case.

@@cd-rom. After unlimited energy expires, there is a 4 second downtime before another enemy becomes marked by Inner Sight. Puncture was not changed AFAIK

I read swords as the dmg numbers are higher.

How do you see the % on the items like it can roll from 20-40% etc

Using an ultimate is not an optimal build until super late game when you get crazy cd reductions gear

All your damage comes from twisting blades and it's more than enough damage. All those huge crits he's getting are from twisting blades. Promise, you literally don't need another damaging ability

You don’t, just having it equipped applies it to your daggers even though the aspect is on your crossbow. You just put it on your crossbow and leave it alone, you won’t ever use ranged weapon with this specific build.

1:20 twisted blades is at rank 7/5 does it get the benefits of 7/5 or 5/5?

the 7/5 is from some gear that has a perk of adding certain ranks to certain skills. i have boots that add two tanks to my maxed out twisting blades and mine is also at 7/5, really good for the extra damage if you like to spam it

With my Tree, you have Death Trap ever 10 to 15 Seconds.

Nice actually I play the same build but with flurry instead of twisting blades. I like the lifesteal and is really good for aoe farm!

Why not shadow clone?

Theres other skills besides dash and shadow step that are passive that let you practically sprint incredibly fast with freeing up your skill slots for other active skills. Theres other mobility options that rival or even trump dash and shadow step. I hope people dont sleep on them. Only reason I bring it up is because every build ive seen uses them and im getting the vibe people are thinking they are necessary but theyre not

I'm glad to see you using shadow imbuement. I see a ton of builds using poison imbuement and it's obvious they simply haven't tried shadow. It's just so good.

Shadow doesnt compete with poison on bosses. Its literally a trash clearing mechanic. If you have any pierce bow build or twisting blades, poison does great

Was abt to roll poison imbue with my poison trap as soon as i got the whirling blades aspect, but then i got a unique that does a poison aoe on hit with shadow damage against poison enemies, you get bootleg poison imbue on your shadow imbue, i really like it

Inbuement isnt useful but if u do a bow build there is a unique bow and accessory accesory makes every ability use every imbument and the bow has a chance 2 do dpuble damage

Dunno if we can see traps or not but ive havent seen any poison traps beside myself and ive done a lot 12 players event

Does it matter if you have the twisted blades aspect on the blades instead of crossbow and blast trappers on amulet instead of gloves ?

You have to do a side quest line and it eventually shows up.

Well theres a few reason to not use it at the start, you can replace your generator with shadow clone later when you gain enough energy from the build, but if you're using shadow clone youd be sacrificing damage and knock down from poison trap, mobility from shadow step or damage reduction from that dark shroud skill, if you spec into all the energy recovery skills tho in the endgame you can sacrifice your energy generator for shadow clone or something else, like wudijo said in his video

Yo! I might sound stupid, but my blades doesn't spin around me - they come back to me. I got the twisting blades, enchanced twisting blades and advanced twisting blades.. but it doesnt spin around me, im assuming thats what makes the damage to great? Anyone care to explain?

Hey sorry that nobody saw your comment until now, if you haven’t found out yet you can get a legendary to drop with that aspect on it that makes twisting blades spin around you

@@lr6497 Cheers. I figured it out but I still can't get this build to work for me. It looks incredible overpowered when i watch this guy play but when I play with this build, stuff dies slowly and I die as well.. But i didn't have the legendary, do you think that would change everything?

@@FocohiAcoustic honestly you really start melting stuff fast the more you level on paragon and there’s some other legendaries, make sure the swirling twisting blades aspect is on your crossbow as well since you get double damage over every other item, I could add you and show you my build that I wreck nightmare dungeons on at level 54

they nerfed a lot of classes, wait for a more up to date build

As a rogue player in paragon, disagree with 50% of this build. Think its a bit early to express as X is the best build

@@Soggysenpai I think is because is a bit of a glass cannon, and CC just wrecks it. Once we get into higher (nightmare, +), anxiety is that the rogue, which I am playing myself btw, is gonna suffer from lack of defense vs buffed dps monsters, and could get 1shot'ted

Are you using shadow step to avoid/break cc? Get aspect that gives you an extra charge of SS, I never get CCed I’m only wt3 though

Problem is that 99% of these KZreadrs make the same build for rogue with twisting blades and everyone of them says "welcome to my vest rogue dps" you click the video and oh what a surprise same build like the rest of 99% videos about the rogue.. Boring to watch the same build in 100 videos from different ppl

its not rly insane. it,s pretty capped hard untill u got friends to play with at nightmare maybe actually now aftrer i played it late, i think the skills in the tree are f. wack. Feels like vanilla d2 or vanilla d3, as soon as u go up the level whe chars were just not good

I played the exact same build but recently swapped traps to concealment and and close combat and it feels insane. I use concealment as ressource regen and with close combat i get so much cdr that i have maximum uptime on twisting blades which triggers inner sight alot which gives lots of cdr and so on. It harder on mobs since you need to frontload all the dmg into the first hit but the dps is insane. Also concealment feels like cheat :D

Rogues just got nerfed! Twisting blades doesnt do anywhere near as much as it did and dark shroud doesnt protect as much as it did!

Twisting blades is still very good though. With shadow imbuement it wrecks mobs.

Flury is superior to twisting blades when using a controller. Without the proper mobility for shadow step youre too reliant on dash to position properly and effectively.
