BEST RAKE! Gardena Leaf Collector
Ғылым және технология
Gardena hooked me up with this amazing leaf and grass collector. Its manually operated and does such an amazing job. Never using a rake again!

@@freewillchoice8052 Depending on the sugar sand layer thickness you will face wheel traction problems I assume. If it is really deep e.g. beach it will think in and making it hard to move. To overcome that issue you will probably have to increase the width of the wheels.
I love Gardena products. I have the whole garden hose and watering system set up not to mention a ton of garden tools all by Gardena. They’re great.
That opening shot feels good man
A Futureristic way of how clear up leaves.
Omg i love it. I was acually just sitting here procrastinating racking my backyard filled with cherry tree and oak leaves...daydreaming pondering imagining making some sort of automatic whole yard leaf racking device system...one thatd just cover my whole yard with a bunch of rake forks like one big giant giant rake but mounted to some overhead system that just pulls it along and can divide up as it encounters object's and trees, and just one sweep all my leafs pulled over least to the side fence near my compost then itd be a lot easier...i called my man and asked him how we might make such a thing...hes the one who can put my crazy ideas into action, sometimes pretty cool. But idk think this one's just a fantasy
I collect leaves every year, mostly the pre-bagged variety people so kindly put out at the road. But this might be handy for some silent direct collection.
Y-Man I just showed 1 of my coworker.. He is like YES!!!! So I think his going to order it. 👍🏾
So simply and fairly effective. I'm surprised there are more things like this, the Ryobi leaf system is just a giant vacuum head and doesn't seem to be that effective. They should totally add this to the front... basically a lawn vacuum cleaner.

I randomly looked up leaf collector and didn't expect to find Yuri.
Imagine looking for a review for a product you want to buy and top video is from one of your favorite car reviewers. Can you tell me what dish soap to use next?
This looks like a nice manual alternative to noisy and smelly gas-powered leaf vacuums for smaller yards. We have an acre yard full of trees and there is just no way this could keep up with the amount of leaves falling right now. The advantage of the gas-powered unit (it looks like a lawnmower with a vacuum nozzle on the front) is that it compacts the leaves by about one half when it sucks them up and discharges them into the catcher.
@cliff9136

Just use a mower with catcher, 5-1 mulched volume.
It is Great !!! Love it
Even better if it could mulch the leaves. Then you take the full bag and put the mulch on top of garden soil. This is natural fertilizer.
The whole time I waited for Jacob to show up and the video ended.
I am doing this with my lawn mover, plus leave chopping direct to compost.
They make the best Garden supplies
This looks good, and thank you for shearing your experience! Just have a quick question, will this work well with locust tree leaves? They are pretty thin and small.
What are the huge pavers for on the patio? Got any good outdoor projects coming along?
Reminds me of the old lawn push mowers.
Great! How does it do on rocks? Landscape rocks all of one size that have replaced lawns? Please consider another video on that, thanks!
Nice machine but, my lawn mower does the same thing plus mulches the leaves.
I just push them into the street. They crumble up and blow away in time.
Wow wish I had seen this sooner. What a great tool ! But, how does it do when there are small twigs and stuff like pine cones mixed in the leaves ? Will this tool able to rake them up without fuss ?
It's way easier using a self propelled electric mulch mower. The mower bags up the leaves.

Does this work on pea gravel ????
Two thumbs up!
Yuri! Didn't know you had a side channel. What sorcery is this? I need one.
Need to combination of leave collector and mulcher. This tool is OK for collecting a moderate amount of leaves, but still requires dumping the leaves frequently. Over the fall and winter get a couple million leaves, several thousand per day, every day. I literally use a power washer because it does faster\better job of getting the leave off the lawn, but it still requires collecting the leaves after the leaves are blown into the far corner of the lawn.
How about wet leaves?

@@GardenaCan would this also work with leaves on the drive way & patio?
Reading some of the comments below asking about the horsepower, sharpening blades, and how loud is it. Duhhh!!!! People can't you read the description. It is a lawn SWEEPER not a motorized MOWER. It is manually pushed to pick up leaves in the yards and probably has brushes not blades. This one is just too small a basket for me and I have large leaves that fall each year and have quite a few from my yard and some the blow into my yard from neighbors. Looking for something to do it myself and save expensive yard contractor cleanup bills. So i will pass on getting this one.

That yard has no leaves. My back yard has five trees, leave more than ankle deep. I don't think that would be affective for me.
This or a mulching lawn mower??
@YuriTereshyn
2 жыл бұрын
I dunno mulching sounds good
Lol. Folks, do NOT buy this piece of garbage. The problem is illustrated in the first few seconds of this video. It will fill up in less than 10 seconds if in a heavy leaf area. I worked in landscaping for 4 years. Removed more tons of leaves than I could ever count. We laid out tarps and raked them onto that and then used two men to drag it to where we were dumping it. A load would weigh at least 800 pounds. Heavier if they were wet. Which was all too often the case. Wet leaves would probably tear the bottom out of this thing on the very first day. For a one acre property with leaf problems, I would estimate you would have to empty this thing a few hundred times. This is one of those things that looks cool until you get it and put it into practice in real life. You have been warned!
can this leaf collector also pick-up accorns? it looks like it could.
