He should have used 2 different cloths for both the polish. He used the same cloth for 3 m and formula 1 which can also deviate the result.

I disagree with the video. You didn't coat well with Formula 1 wax. Honestly speaking, if anyone of you is looking for a car shampoo, you can blindly trust 3M Car Shampoo, but when it comes to wax, prefer Formula 1 Wax.

Use wet sponge while applying formula 1 and apply in such a way that it leaves a white layer on body paint. Leave it for about 30 minutes to dry and wipe off and see the magic.. No need to rub. A microfiber or wooven towel is recommended for wiping.

What I felt is you already had a coat of 3M applied and for demo purpose u applied little amount of both 3m and formula1. 3M might be better but your video did not seem to be a fair comparison.

I used 3m and f1 ... f1 needs lot of work but great result its great on the Golden shade of my car... 3m dosent suit my car color which make it look faded in gold color...

I think you got fake formula 1 Carnauba wax. There is nothing close to genuine formula 1 products let alone 3M. Every product without import seal is fake.Even from offline stores. Formula 1 products are benchmark in wax and polish. I have used 3m products and they are not that great if you have used Meguiar's or Formula 1. This is my personal opinion may vary with others.

@@its_baluera you asked the question I replied , purpose of the wax and purpose of rubbing compound is different. Wax is not as abrasive as the rubbing compound it will not remove your scratches. I have been testing these products for over 10 years on my bike now

Polish and wax are not same your using 3m wax and formula1 polish. polish cuts through paint removing a layer used to remove minor scratches while wax adds a coat above paint adding shine and protects from UV ray

Yes , wax n polish containing abrasive are not good. Buy non abrasive containing wax n polish, it may cost you a bit more but are far more gentle on your car. Dont blindly trust youtubers brother.
