I don’t understand the 151 booster bundle thing. Why get 6 packs for $40 when you can get 9 packs for $50 with a promo and other fluff?

Ive had good luck by buying the items in stores that already have some profit built in and are above msrp online. Examples: eevee premieum boxes, lances charizard boxes, evolving skies etbs, ect. Having some cushion built in to cover selling fees and stuff always helps, and if its over msrp, theres usually a reason and it will continue.

151 mini tin display have done well, I bought a factory case of 4 which I’ve kept sealed.

fusion strike sleeved and 3 pack is the way 2 go there gonna up crazy in the next year or 2

i think upc's are a bit to big to store. 151 booster bundles or 151 pokemon center etb's is the way to go i think for 151.

151 bundles are it since they usually got hits. and etb or upc is a guranteed hit thus the money

151 will be reprinted. But the price wont drop.

Do you mean below MSRP? Or below where they are now? Because stuff like that etb being around $60 is going to drop for sure. If you're talking drop below MSRP that makes more sense. Pokemon has gotten pretty good at printing volume.

It may go below what it is now, but not by much. Maybe a dollar or two.

@@Danny82828 japanese set not a great comparison. It was up to like 5x msrp. Nothing in english 151 is like that, so much less distance to drop

These are good recommendations, don't get me wrong, and I really enjoy the content, but it continues to baffle me that the Play! series prize packs never enter the investment conversation. I get that it's a controversial recommendation because LGS's are supposed to give them away, not sell them - and shame on the stores that DO sell them - but the market for Series One in particular is strong and seems to have a huge upside. Why not talk about them?
